Pump/magfed players: How many paintballs do you carry in a single game?

I don't play magfed but I play open class pump. I use a PE small cap 100rd PAL loader (which I don't fill to the brim, so maybe 85 paintballs?) with a small 100rd pod padded to be capped at about 50 rounds. When I use a 13ci tank I'm limited anyways to about 120 shots. When I use a 45ci tank instead, I use the same loader but I'll carry one regular sized pod (140 rounds). Then again, I very seldom shoot more than 100 rounds per game, closer to about half to two thirds of my loader (50 to 60 shots or so) being the average.

What about you? I'm curious to learn about your ammo loadout whether you are an open-class pump, stock class or magfed player.
"Aren't you getting too old for this??"
    "Nope."

An observation I've had, a person can comfortably carry 4 to 6 of something substantial on a belt. So a 6 pod harness, easy to wear. 8 gets a little unwieldly. You look at most of the pod packs available, they're usually 4 main pods, maybe 5. With a bunch of secondary loops that, well, aren't meant to be used ALL the time, and get cumbersome when they're all filled up. Worth it for "special" games, but not a normal one.

So is it with magazines. Battle belts, shotgun shell bags, vets rigs, even just filing the pockets on a BDU jacket, all the ones I tried it seems to be 6 magazines is the comfortable spot. That could be 8 round T8 mags, 14 round Dmags, or 20 round Tippman mags. 6 seems to be about right. (do note, I own 10 mags for the T8 and the Dmag setup, so I could carry more.) Most of the mag fed I've played were on fields where you HAD to put the empty magazines back into something, the fields were just too big to be dropping stuff. So that 6 mags included the one in the gun, leaving an empty spot to stash the empty mag.

So that's hitting the field with as little as 48 rounds for the pistol (less than I'd carry for my PGP), so super hard mode. To as many as 120 rounds. Well within the shot count of a 13ci.

        Open JoLo + 4- 50s so approx (265)
Stock Class 15 tube Joyride + 12round stick feed (162)
Magfed 30 first strike I hand feed them one at a time in my bolt action phantom. I only play mag fed to shoot first strikes. I don’t really like the format. Game turnover is stupid slow.

that’s enough for multiple matches I rarely shoot it all even after several matches.

I carry 8 -- 21-round (paintballs, not FSR) CF20 magazines for my EMF100. That's one in the marker, one full mag in the dump pouch (that I use right after the one in the marker), and 6 more in a chest rig.

At my local field, if we're doing a respawn game, I'll keep extra mags at the respawn point and/or extra paint and a wrench to wind mags.

If I want to carry more than 6 in the chest rig, I have to double layer, and that gets cumbersome quite quickly. Worse, I have to carry two dump pouches crisscrossed on my back. It gets tough to get them in the pouches as the weight from the empty mags builds, and it's a lot of weight swinging around back there when I run. Trying to put empties back in my chest rig has never worked for me. I'm either shooting, getting shot at, moving, or trying to maintain field awareness, so I use the dump pouch or drop and retrieve later if I have to.

I have a custom pb mafia 5-50 pack that I guess is a 6-50, for class pump play I mainly use a gog multical hopper or if I'm feeling spicy ill use an APP 50 round, Winchester or Jolo, for the most part I carry around 200-300 rounds on my pack when I use the multi cal hopper I normally run 2 100 round and 2 50 round pods, and the 50 round hoppers I use 50 round pods on all my loops, if I'm playing stock or modified stock it's my Pb mafia joyride pack and 10 round tube or a Jeff box

I run very similar setups as Chuck E Ducky
Stick Feed & JoyRide is 162 rounds.
              Jolo & PBMafia/TopStick (3) 50rd Pods + Hopper = Roughly 200ds.

These setups typically allow me to play at least two games back to back. On many occasions I won't even shoot through an entire Jolo.

                open class -> 1 or 2 50rd pods
stock class -> up to 10 tubes and 3 to 5 12g (leg harness)
mag feed (FSR bolt action) -> 3 to 6 mags with 6 rounds in each

Open class pump. I have my GXG pod pack 5-50 pods, I'll fill that up at the beginning of the day and depending on which hopper (50 or 100) I am running I may not even have to use a pod. Usually when I use a pod I don't bother refilling it at the staging area.

Depending on the length of matches and number of games (usually 2 or 3) in the set, I may shoot 50-75. So I could probably get away with just the hopper at times, but I like having my pack on me.

Ranges from stock class with tubes about 100-150 rounds

or open a jolo with a pod pack of either 3 50 round pods or a gravity pack I have happens to hold the 40 round small pods that are made for 50 cal but hold about 40 68 cal paintballs, which is perfect for the jolo

I play single shot, I usually carry about 50 in my dump sack. If I'm playing with a stick feed, about 100 rounds on my back +10 in the feed. Usually lasts 2 back to back rounds of play, which is what we usually do. Do a game, swap sides, then go back to reload.

When i play open class pump I have my jolo plus 4 50 round pods which is enough for the 2-3 games at a time for open play and it's about as much as I can shoot on a 15/4500 tank anyways.

If it’s an all pump game, I’ll run my JOLO 50 rder with like 4-5 35 or 50 rd pods, so like 190-300 rounds.

In open play I use a 100 rd hopper with 2 100 rd pods, so 300ish balls

Sometimes I just run a revvy and no pack, so 200 balls
