I think the Emek is the one to keep. It's solid while sitting for long periods of time. I let my son have one and it has sat in the bag for 2 years. I recently got it back from him and aired it right up, shooting 275 solidly.

At my field we have a lot of electronics playing each weekend so I would keep an electric. If I was only going to play a few times a year I would get a 170r and use it. Sure a Axe or mini would work too but if they were going to sit a while I don't think I would go with the PE instead..

Its hard not to reccomend a gamma core. Gmek, etha 2/3, emek, 160/170. They are just so dang reliable.

I would go with OC pump, Emek and an electro like an OG axe or gtek.

To be honest I only play 2-3x a year so this is real. I'm not keeping only two though lol.

For me it would have to be an open class sniper like my Series 5 and an autococker, probably one of my orracles. Mech is kind of a must as I'm simply not good enough to keep up with the electro players with only a pump. If for whatever reason the AC doesn't work or I'm playing a rec day with renters then the pump gets the call.

i only play 2-3 times a year, and one of them is click-clack-bloop so a pg/pgp is necessary. for semi's i generally start with ats (at-4 & at-16), and when those break in some fashion the old reliable reverse z-gripped minimag comes out (or my pmi3). modded p68sc back gun &/or pg is/are a must, with my old bluestreak based long gun if the paint runs short. yes, i have too much crap for playing so rarely

Unless I can go to pump only games for those 2 times a year, EMEK, 100%.

I like pump more, but if I am only playing twice a year, I can't risk a horrible experience. Pump in open play with bad paint is a horrible experience. You can hold your own against semis and electros IF the paint hits its target when you position yourself well and aim well. If you get to the field and find out that the paint sucks though, you just can't get through all of the "mandatory misses" fast enough to not have someone with a Tippmann 98 or better spin and dump on you.

Well, since I'm not making payments on any of my gear, I have zero motivation to necessarily reduce the herd. So even if I was to only play a couple times a year I might still have kept everything I have. I still have gear from the late 80s.

That being said, if I were to only keep 2 markers for occasional play (not likely to happen) it would be:
              • My - CCM S-5 RF pump (my RF Pyre is a close 2nd)
              • My - M170R (close 2nd would be my Banzi Autococker)
Luckily, I don't have to make that draconian decision, so the herd is still safe.

One of my CCM pumps. Probably my Stock Class J6 build because I could always bolt the feedneck back on it for open play. If I only play 2x a year it would likely be stock class anyway so I would definitely keep an ICD lever stock, feedneck JoLo, a proshield 50round pack and a Joyride for when I want to play.

Everything extra could go. But if I cut back there are 3 events I would not and could not miss. All 3 are Two day Stock Class so I would definitely need something that is capable of doing so. I always thought it would be my Phantom but lately I have been really enjoying shooting my CCM in SC trim. To the point I’m even building another.

That being said I would never sell my single shot pistol Creeper built for me. But I probably wouldn’t use that as my only marker since is more of a specialty marker. So I couldn’t settle for just one however if I really had to choose it would be one of my SC J6 for sure. Just because it’s more well rounded in a practical use aspect.

                  Pump mag

It’s 2 guns in one and mags just work. If you want to go to a pump game you are all set and if you are going to a walk on day you can take out the wave spring and play with it as a semi.

CCM Series 6, and its not all that close.
Its just super versatile and fun and I use it the most already. Holds up pretty well to semi's, shoots darts, comfy, SUPER reliable.

2 would be so hard. I'd probably stash a few and say I sold them. So the visible ones would probably be my OC sniper with the feedstick and 12g changer handy, and my CS3 with the mech frame to swap in as needed. I never know if I have to play gently with walk-on rental kids or the speedballers or anywhere in between. The stashed guns would be my Shockteched black magic cocker, the ule mag that isn't done yet, and my SC phantom. Maybe keep the 3m, empire traccer, and minimag hidden too.

It would be difficult to pick just one. Having several that I designed does not help.

Likely it would be my Niche Element. I designed it, I play pump mostly and it a amazing gun. But damn I would have a hard time letting go of alot of the others.

But if you asked in a hour it would likely be a different gun I would keep.

Tippmann A5 with a twist lock flatline barrel, and a 400 round hopper. Don't know if I would get e frame, or install an RT. Maybe try the Fang hair trigger kit. And a BT SA-17 as my sidearm.

The real honesty is Keep them all.

I think everyone on this forum has "downsized" and quit or turned way back on the ball at least once. I know I have. I wish I hadn't sold a single one of my markers.

We should treat them more like firearms. Everyone needs more than 2.

A Gtek (pick a version) with mech and electro frames as one marker and a 6.5 would actually be my two marker set up. Phantom for stock class to call a round 3.

If it’s not limited to markers i currently have then I’d have to say probably a Mag & an Empire Syx. I do have a Syx & just love the way it feels/shoots. Has basically everything i want out of an electro. A Mag because they’re simple, reliable & i just love the snappy trigger.
