Your running speed is directly related to the number of stripes on your shoes.

If Ego drop shots were a thing, it would be super easy to prove. Take a mid-height prop and put it 70-ish feet in front of a wall. Stand 70-ish feet away from the prop. You've just simulated shooting the length of an NXL field while dropping shots over a 50 prop.

Take several markers chrono'ed to the same speed with the same paint. Skim the top of the prop with each marker. Did any produce a grouping lower on the wall than the others? The marker is still held by human hands but aiming bias is removed so long as the shooter adjusts their stream to skim the bunker.

Bore sizing DOES matter. Underbore and you get better efficiency but risk breaking paint. Overbore and you lose efficiency but minimize your risk of barrel breaks. Attempt to find a perfect match and, unless you're using miraculously consistent paint, expect wild spikes while you alternate between over and under boring due to paint variation in the same bag.

Agree on the bore sizing. Another difference is that when/if you break paint, I've found an underbored barrel has significantly more difficulty self-clearing. So personally, I'll underbore for recball and overbore for tourneys.
