Well...I could not help myself and I acquired a second Vector. Had one 2002 ish I sold at some point. Months ago I snagged one on Ebay for $135 and had Valve Body machined to accept a standard o-ring. This one will get that too but I am going to try to do a video explaining these markers since there really is nothing out there on them anymore. This one is has a black bolt while SN 00970 has a raw/silver anodized bolt. Gassed it up and it has a slight leak where the Valve Body feeds the LPR...which is also where a screw is missing and might be stripped. Gun cycled but slightly slow, which was likely a consequence of low CO2 tank. The plastic shroud also has some imperfections on the inside. I will share more soon but here are a few photos:

Are you operating? How did you overcome the valve body oring issue? -
I've never pulled the valve body.... So they just work?
The one i frequently used at least. The other one did work but was only ever used for display purposes its the only factory short barrel vector.
My third.... Shoots.... But will never be used or tinkered with as its an original and first generation vector a

Hello. My name is Michael Power. I was at Air Power when the Apex and Apex Elite (both pump guns) and the Vector was made. My paintballing days are behind me due to age. As a whim this evening I punched into Google search Vector by Air Power and saw your review about the Vector. The only thing missing was that the barrel was honed in three separate stages of i.d.s. Fluted, if you will. The smaller i.d. was at the rear of the barrel. I still have the Vector, model C, in its case. My position was inventory, material resource planning, shipping, phone and counter sales. Occasionally, I would help out with assembly. I also authored the trouble shooting guide. I am surprised after all of this time there are still those who use and appreciate the Vector. As to the loudness of the Vector here is a personal experience comment. During a game, an opponent was about ten yards behind some cover of stacked branches. There was no chance I was going to be able to penetrate them. Nevertheless, I kept up suppression fire to keep him down so my teammates could continue mauenerving. However, to my surprise, he jumped up to effect a withdrawal. I was able put three balls on his back. After the game, I asked him why did he abandon his cover. Since this was the first time he was confronted by a Vector, he said the sound was so loud that he thought I was right on top of him about to assault him, so he decided to bug out. jonbobshinigin, I'm available for an interview. By what means shall we establish a connection? I am currently blocked from my email account (some cockup with switching over to another iMac). Using I'm familiar with Messenger through Facebook as an option. We could you use voice or visual comms there. Also, I would be available via phone. I will need your phone number to log into my phone. I've reached a point where I no longer answer any calls from unidentified numbers. -
I do not blame you about phone blocking...goodness these calls I get! I will send you a DM here! -
Received you DM of "Hey." I'm not seeing any clarity of how to respond.
