    Longest owned

So what’s the longest you have ever owned a paintball gun.

For me it’s my original Automag. Bought new at
Srg Splatters in 1999. It was my second real paintball gun. Have had it around ever since in one form or another. It spawned the birth of serveral more mags over the years but this body valve rail and trigger frame has been around the entire time. Going on 28 years now.

I remember attempting ro run it on Co2 a few times (it was not happy needed anti siphon or and expansion chamber maybe both) before attending skyball as a spectator and buying my first HPA tank a pure energy 72/3000 steely.

I am probably considered a new owner here on MCB. I bought my Puma when they were still relatively new in 93. VL200 with two large pods in my fatigue top. Squegee in a leg holster. 12 and 20 oz siphon bottles. JT Spectra with visor. My BOA barrel arrived shortly there after. Yes, still have it all.

I have that same ANS barrel. Its beautiful, like a piece of art. Sadly, mine just doesn't seem to throw that good of a ball. I think mine is the 12", while yours seems to be an 8 or 10". How does that one shoot for you?

Mine is 10” and I find it shoots alright. I also have a SP All American 14” and 12” DYE Boom-stick. But that ANS 3D barrel is my favorite.

I think my longest has to go to my Phantom. It's not the first I had and it's left my hands briefly twice, but I'm going on a little over 20 years with it. The only thing I know is the same is the trigger group and the bolt/hammer. Every other part has been swapped around as I tried different things, although it's been in this configuration more or less for years now. It's the one marker that will stay with me regardless of my involvement in the hobby and would be the last to sell if I absolutely had to. It's seen pallets of paint over the years and it's been with me for some of my fondest paintball memories.

I'm an absolute marker slut and go through binging and purging phases. I don't have any of my original markers from when I first started playing

Longest marker at this point has got to be my Super Stocker.

I don't really remember when I got this one tbh, it's my 3rd Stocker, but I think I've had it for at least 10 years at this point.

I bought my first minimag on ebay in 01. Just like Tinybear, it spawned several more mags, as it's mags nature to multiply. But all the original parts are still on one mag or another. The original ebay pic has lost some pixels over the decades apparently...

An early Kingman Spyder TL (i think) in about 1999. It was the all black, powerfeed, all metal, single trigger, with volume chamber, but without a foregrip, stainless braided hose from bottom asa to body. Nothing fancy but worked great. I would have to dig it out to get a photo. Second to that is my 2k RF Autococker purchased in 2000 brand spank'n new. Still use the autococker, the Spyder hasn't been gassed up in 25 years.

Edit: Now i see scottieb's picture above. Just like that except with a horizontal volume chamber out the front and the power feed didn't have the stepped diameter in it. So maybe a generation later?

                My PPS Blazer, BZ014....

I got it from the original owner in 1999, he bought it from Palmer's in March 1997, they first went retail in February 1997.

The barrel and Stabilizer are the originals, I still have his receipt from PPS....

I got my 98 Custom as a lad in a Tippmann powerpack on Christmas day 2001. All of the other stuff in the package is long gone but the 98 remains. I still bring it out fairly often and enjoy tinkering with it.

                    No photo on hand however.

Longest owned goes to a trio of pumps. A wgp ranger I bought as my first gun back 33 years ago. Then my first pgp which is likely around over 30 years as well . Lastly a kp2 which I traded an ak1 avenger for after getting a cocker in 95, its been heavily modified through the years but still has the original body.

Everything else i either sold of during collection purge one in 2003 and bought back later on so I didn't consistently own those

I still have my first paintball marker (68 carbine), but I suspect that I'll have some of my ICD gats for a lot longer

My original Sniper 1.5 I picked up back in 1989 maybe? I don't recall the exact year. Was on the used wall at Adventure Games of NH. $250 being sold as a Sniper 1 with California stock and also had a Thompson barrel on it. I used that for the longest time and eventually purchased an autococker in 1992 and then my F1 Illustrator in 1993. Click image for larger version

Here I am using it at Pump Pandemonium 4. I really haven't touched it since then sadly. I picked up an S6 and then my T2 shortly thereafter

I've owned this Mag in some form since Tom sold me the frame & Xvalve in 2002-ish. It's so reliable and flat out work horse, and yes it has a SPAR.
