What's your player number, and is there a meaning behind it?

[The Jayster]

The only numbered jersey I have is from my local field where they print special runs for members, especially when a contingent of said members travels to a big game event. So one year I decided to get one and asked for '00' as my number. When I received it, they told me that owing to a quirk of the system it wouldn't print '00' and printed instead '0'. I laughed my ass off, gracefully accepted it and have been proudly wearing it since.

Incidentally the name on my jersey right above my big ass '0' is 'Uncle Jay'... yeah I'm in my 50's.

[El Gringo]

Besides, who wouldn't want a magic johnson ? Sleeping with upto 300 women a year.

[talfuchre]

TLDR

[chplnstone]

8, for the number of arrows in a chaos symbol (a la elric of melnibone)
chplnstone is short for chaplain john stone, persona when i was in a pirate crew years back, rank & a play on my last name (johnston)

[I Missed On Purpose]

13 its always been my favorite number and happens to be my birthday

[ATBen]

#2... For obvious reasons.

[RAZRBAKK]

Normally I go with 11 because I'm a big DH fan, but on my MCB jersey I went with 86 for my love of Toyota sports cars.

[SSP]

#5. It’s been a constant all my life. Used to be 555 in motocross and same for road racing until I earned my way to just 5. 🫶🏼
