Well it finally happened, my local field closed. Their compressor broke a few weeks ago (the weekend I was going to go play) and they've made the decision to just shutter the whole operation. The next closest field is 4 hours away. I'm just crushed. Might have to take up airsoft after all. This really sucks.

I know how you feel. I've seen more than a few favorite fields shut down.
But four hours? That's like over state lines here on the East coast.

Iām sorry to hear that. I have had a couple close around me making my drive about 2.5 hours each way.
A lot of small fields are barely holding it together. It only takes one thing to go wrong and they are done.
I am hopeful for those small air compressors. I know they take awhile to fill but at least there is an option to private amd s

Were there a good amount of regulars? Maybe some outlaw games could be arranged or even if some has private land. That's a huge bummer though.
The only place near me is an hour and 15 minutes each way, but there's a very popular outdoor airsoft field 20 minutes away. I've contemplated what I'd do if the paintball field closed down but don't think I could bring myself to take up airsoft lol. Probably just get into fishing even more and import high end JDM gear.Comment
