Tips for retrieving a marker?

I see that, FOP yeah I did the same thing, avoided talking about it when it was ongoing.
If you want your marker back in a few weeks before you move, and without having to make that drive your are going to have to make some waves though

Before trying to retrieve the item I would first imagine the worst scenario that could possibly play out and then think really hard if I really wanted to go through that (spoiler: I wouldn’t).
If you do go, give him warning, and don’t say anything tough. He may not even have your gun anymore which would make things extra depressing if something bad happened. Whatever his reasons are for lack of movement there is likely some sort of desperation that consumes his thoughts more than you do. He also messes with chemicals all day so he might just be Body Shop Guy crazy and probably has a thousand rifles. People with nothing to lose are nobody to F with.
I hope you get your gun back, it’s probably very nice or you wouldn’t have invested in anodizing it.

Where are you getting chemicals from? FOP said he sent it out to "a well known tech"...

The OP is not the only member dealing with this problem with this individual. Before the MCB hijack, there were half a dozen members all hanging in limbo with this individual. I too have been waiting a very long time experiencing the same things as the OP.

Sorry, I got confused. For some reason I thought we were talking about anodizing...since that seems to be an occasional black hole for guns. The only thing I’ve ever lost was a brand new red Phantom barrel that a former member was supposed to freak for me.

FOP, I had issues with getting two bodies back from a machine shop in Michigan. If I'm remembering correctly, that individual had my two SFT bodies for ~19 months. What finally ended up working was me asking if I could have a friend who lived close by in Michigan stop by and pick up the parts in person for me. I'm all for doing whatever it takes to get your stuff back.My Feedback

Send email. Call. Wait a reasonable amount of time. Email. Call. Send letter. Wait reasonable amount of time. Drive to his town and file a police report with all supporting evidence you have. Tell them you will drop charges if goods are returned. It should work itself out. If something crazy happened it will be revealed. He/she must be aware what they are doing has consequences - even if they feel they aren't doing anything wrong

It sucks that you had to start this thread. I would file a police report at this point. The "relationship" you have with the tech is pretty much done...it's all about recovering your property now. Based on the fact that his FB page is still active and he posted a reply to a visitor post on Feb 16th at 8:29am shows that he is deliberately avoiding you. Good luck, I hope this works out for you...and doesn't turn for the worse.

Well after speaking with another people in a similar boat it's name and shame time.
Brad Potter from East Coast Angel (ECA) has had my Angel A4 Fly for over a year and won't return it. Screenshots and all that fun in this thread.
