January 2025: YOUR FAVORITE MARKER
*Favorite marker you currently own.

Yes, you can reenter a marker that you’ve previously entered.
No, you can not enter a marker that has previously won.


Rules Week One:
Post up any marker you have that fits into the category.
You MUST own the marker.
One marker per person.
One picture per marker.
A little detail on the build is encouraged, but not necessary.

Week Two:
I will post up that Phase II is starting.
Each member may nominate one of the previously posted markers.
You may NOT nominate yourself.
Each marker only needs ONE nomination to move on.

*For weeks one and two please keep all posts to pictures of your entry and nominations, week one and two, respectively. Comments on posts are fine, they don't complicate the contest any.

I will create a second thread labeled "[POLL]." This is where you can cast your votes and post anything you'd like!
You MAY vote for yourself here.
The winner of the poll will move on to the Marker of the Year contest on January 1, 2025.

Additional Information:
If you win the monthly contest, you must STILL own the marker for the Marker of the Year contest. If it is sold, it will no longer be eligible for the contest.
You can use the same marker in multiple contests, as long as fits the category. (Probably doesn't really apply this year, since it's brands)

My favorite probably because of all the time put into it, AKA Evil Ehm. Milled body, milled frame, lathed vasa, homemade eyes…

I'm sure you've all seen this by now but if not this is the Loo Two. It started off life as two separate markers a CIP Super stock/Boxgun and a Duckslide Phantom. The Boxgun part of it was already heavily modified when I received it and looked more like a Carter Buzzard with a gas in grip. So I decided to merge the two together. Originally this had a gas in grip but I decided to swap it out with a different frame so I could use the gas in grip on a different marker. I decided I wanted to removable Barrel so then I bought a Carter Buzzard and gutted it to allow this to have one.It has a Sconi Barrel that has been cut down so it will be flush with the end of the slide, the original slide was destroyed since been replaced but the original millwork and modification was done by Luke's Customs, the slide release was made by Luke's Customs. The feed cap was made by Kit and all the annodizing work was done by KMDPB.

JeepDVLZ45 made this single shot pistol.
It takes freak XL inserts and shoots great with roundball or first strikes.
I did some internals experimenting with it and get good efficiency.

It's not just fun to play with, being made by a friend makes it feel special. I almost always have it in my bag and bring it out to play a few games with when I go to the field. I own a lot of cool markers, but this is one of only a couple that have any emotional significance to me.

Gonna throw my nerve in.

The story goes, back in 03 or so I absolutely drooled over these in the magazine advertisement. Looked them up online and accepted I would never own one. I was playing outlaw with friends at the time and slowly decking out a tippmann 98. Fast forward a few years and my friends weren’t playing as often so I ventured out and started playing scenarios and was spending more time on forums.
perusing the bst section I saw this nerve advertised and on a whim I offered my 98 as a straight trade. Imagine my surprise when it was accepted, this was 06 I believe. My original intent was to use it a couple times then trade it for a ULE mag. After playing with it I changed that thought and slowly began changing out pieces. Scored a tonton frame and most of what is seen here and there. Decided it needed some sort of anno work as it became a mix master but I needed one last piece. The 15* vasa I scored last spring and was the final part I wanted before getting it annoed.

I had JeeperCreeper build this for me after I gave away my original single shot for Walzmas 2022 - which, as the fates have it, made it full circle and is now inHellion360 ‘s possession…which is awesome!

It’s a FreakXL bored PGP with SpeedDemon Bolt, Palmers Fast changer, Sergison Brass K-Frame and on the passenger side, Chris added a “pen clip” holster at my request…literally the greatest mod EVER 😂

Not as fancy as many markers here, but I shot something similar back in college almost 20-years ago so it hits the nostalgia factor right on the bullseye for me. I also “rescued” this in pretty poor condition off eBay and turned it into a pretty nice shooter, so I feel good about that too.

My big build project over the last 2 years. It has become my go to recball shooter.

97 Mozaked Offset Right Feed with a Kapp back block, P&P front block, and Sconi feed neck.

Meteor Classic slider with SP wood grips, Freeflow S7 roller sear, Numech Telos roller trigger plate, a brass trigger shoe, and Inception ASA

Shocktech internals and Angry Antle Cock Ringed Shocktech bolt.

Palmers brass pnuematics and Fatty Stabilizer

AKA stainless volumizer.

Custom brass Freak XL back, brass bolt pin, brass cocking knob, and brass Belsales beaver tail mount from SSC

CK Triple Tap Freak tip

Coil over springs on the pneumatic tubes and steel braided hose for that extra old school feel.

Ninja brass Pro V2 reg, brass tank dangle for some laughs.

Hidden on the other side is a brass detent.

I've have many favorites. But I'll go with my favorite non pump shooter.

My Karta emag. (The black, green, pink one) It never fails to work. Shot great. And was a gun i wanted long before I could get one.

Riot the other mag isn't mine unfortunately. It was a friend's untilnhe sold it recently. It's a xmag with a awseome ano and the texture fades from matte to polished as well.
