    [MOTM] March: < 1985 - 1995

    March: Markers released from < 1985 - 1995
From paintballs inception to 1995. If it was made/produced in that time period, show it off here.

Yes, you can reenter a marker that you’ve previously entered.
No, you can not enter a marker that has previously won.

    Rules Week One:
Post up any marker you have that fits into the category.
    You MUST own the marker.
    One marker per person.
    One picture per marker.
A little detail on the build is encouraged, but not necessary.

    Week Two:
I will post up that Phase II is starting.
Each member may nominate one of the previously posted markers.
    You may NOT nominate yourself.
Each marker only needs ONE nomination to move on.

*For weeks one and two please keep all posts to pictures of your entry and nominations, week one and two, respectively. Comments on posts are fine, they don't complicate the contest any.

    Weeks Three & Four:
I will create a second thread labeled "[POLL]." This is where you can cast your votes and post anything you'd like!
You MAY vote for yourself here.
The winner of the poll will move on to the Marker of the Year contest on January 1, 2026.

    Additional Information:
If you win the monthly contest, you must STILL own the marker for the Marker of the Year contest. If it is sold, it will no longer be eligible for the contest.
You can use the same marker in multiple contests, as long as fits the category. (Probably doesn't really apply this year, since it's brands)

If you have any questions about the contest or about an entry you'd like to put in... Please feel free to PM.

PLEASE, have your entries in by the 7th, at noon (EST), each month! (Set a reminder!)

    Let's gooooo!

I didn’t realize these were so old! What year were these released?
I feel like I’m going to learn a lot from this month. Ha. Very nice!

The August 1989 issue of APG mentions the prototype. Mongo claims in a YouTube video he bought his in December of 1988, but I suspect he either misspoke or mis-remembered.

Holy cow that’s amazing. I’ve ever seen such a thing. The cereal box stock feed insults the rest of the gun but otherwise this is max cool.

😂🤣. Yea, I know. I’m working on a different one, but it’s all I have and I only play stickfeed or single shot.

Early Grey Ghost - Age unconfirmed but Probably about 1989-1990 based on the frame options.
Modified for freak inserts to keep it rocking.
I might update the picture as it is currently set up for stock class.
Need Inception Designs or Shocktech Products? Let me know!

Autococker #27757, which puts it right at the end of 1995. Had to strap a Palmers UMB to it as the potmetal frame stripprd out. She is a mix of parts but still all CO2.

This kooky custom nelson... All I could really say is that I know they were built from brand new nel spots made in 1986.

I never had a chance to confirm the actual build date but with a bit of extrapolation the serial puts it early 90's. Possibly very late '80s.

Palmers Hurricane 187. Old enough to not have an "H" prefix on the serial number or standardized internals.

(I've done a bunch of work to it, so if that disqualifies it for this month let me know.)

And God turned to Gabriel and said: “I shall create a land called Canada of outstanding natural beauty, with majestic mountains soaring with eagles, sparkling lakes abundant with bass and trout, forests full of elk and moose, and rivers stocked with salmon. I shall make the land rich in oil so the inhabitants prosper and call them Canadians, and they shall be praised as the friendliest of all people.”

“But Lord,” asked Gabriel, “Is this not too generous to these Canadians?”

And God replied, “Just wait and see the neighbors I shall inflict upon them."

            Carterized Check It Super Stock
Released in 1994 and modified by Carter Machine.
Body was modded to accept Autococker barrels and a custom cut TechT iFit was done just for this marker. Has a custom Titanium barrel tip as well as a PPS Brass one,a J&J Stainless one,and a DYE stainless/cf one.
Also have a custom cut DW Fibur Freak barrel for it with custom cut Freak inserts (cut to simulate the bevel Carter's need) As well as a FloryPB loudener
I added one of JimmyDee's Mag Changers to it (based on in old Avratech R7 design)
The frame on this actually came from another CIP I had (Long story that many of you know already)
Trigger is from an actual Carter Desert Duck.
            Internals are Carter Buzzard.
Recently added a See All Open Sight to it
This is a very special Marker to me....It's has a cut 12g within it that contains some of the ashes of our fallen brother Splattttttt and it has been dubbed "57" in his honor. It is one Marker I will never part with Click image for larger version
