    [MOTM] July - 1996-2006 Release

    July: Marker's released from 1996 - 2006

Any markers produced between 1996 and 2006 go here.

Yes, you can reenter a marker that you’ve previously entered.

No, you can not enter a marker that has previously won.

    Rules Week One:

Post up any marker you have that fits into the category.

    You MUST own the marker.

    One marker per person.

    One picture per marker.

A little detail on the build is encouraged, but not necessary.

    Week Two:

I will post up that Phase II is starting.

Each member may nominate one of the previously posted markers.

    You may NOT nominate yourself.

Each marker only needs ONE nomination to move on.

*For weeks one and two please keep all posts to pictures of your entry and nominations, week one and two, respectively. Comments on posts are fine, they don't complicate the contest any.

    Weeks Three & Four:

I will create a second thread labeled "[POLL]." This is where you can cast your votes and post anything you'd like!

You MAY vote for yourself here.

The winner of the poll will move on to the Marker of the Year contest on January 1, 2026.

    Additional Information:

If you win the monthly contest, you must STILL own the marker for the Marker of the Year contest. If it is sold, it will no longer be eligible for the contest.

You can use the same marker in multiple contests, as long as fits the category. (Probably doesn't really apply this year, since it's brands)

If you have any questions about the contest or about an entry you'd like to put in... Please feel free to PM.

PLEASE, have your entries in by the 7th, at noon (EST), each month! (Set a reminder!)

    Let's gooooo!

A Shocktech frame on a Westwood? I thought they all came with P&P frames which were phased out when ST premiered the SFL (and they're new slide fram along with it). Any chance you know when it was initially built? Id guess mid 99 at least, maybe later

I'm not the original builder... It has some upgrades and Anno matching done over the years. The frame, front block, back block and asa/rail were all Anno matches.

The back block docs machine matches to the curves of the body.

Not original per se, but tastefully updated.

Technically... I think I built that thing in like 2018?

Frankly I'm impressed it's still in one piece. 🙂

Yeah, it probably needs some love. I’ve never even cleaned it. Lol. Just keeps shooting.

Oh, definitely leave it as is, that's probably why it still works.

Don't question it, just accept and move on. 🙂

Back when this was released it was THE gun to have.

        Cougar20th Adrenaline Impulse.jpg

This is Adrenaline Impulses. #0034 a tri-fade from the first batch and still 100% original with the exception of swapping the chunky eye cover for a slim NDZ one.
I do still shot it and it works as good now as the day it was made.

          Murder Inc. BKO

If you use the way back machine, these retailed for $475 in mid 2003. These are way better then the regular BKOs since Murder Inc. added a second detent which massively helped their paint handling. By adding the ramped vapor bolt, I was able to kick up the paint handling even further, and I finally got around to dumping a my first case through it Saturday, and it was flawless . Zero chops or barrel breaks, this gun is just a monster.

Please disregard the date at the bottom of the video, I'm still figuring the camera out, this was on 06/28/25, NOT Christmas of 23 😂

          Other parts:

          CCM lowrise feedneck
          Ramped Vapor Bolt
          "Unknown" LPR adapter Kit
          05 Pro-stock Bullet LPR
          Chaos Board
          Red LED
          Polished ram shaft
          Optimized Spring Perch
          SLPS Valve Spring
          Empire ASA Rail
          NDZ on/off
          CP HPR
          Reproduction Murder Inc. Grips

It’s been a great shooter for me. Fairly smooth and fast as hell. Haven’t got a lot to compare it against as far as other poppets though. I’ve been thinking of reaching out to you about possibly sending you a body, to go nuts removing as much material as possible after seeing your Viking milling.

Frmrspec Nerves are great shooters and were stupid fast for the time they came out. The demo mode on them would do 32 BPS but there wasn't a hopper that could keep up at the time. They are an absolute breeze to service too as far as the mechanical parts go ,the electronics access is a bit tricky though. I had an Orange one and a Blue one before and was very pleased with them. Only got rid of the Orange one because it wasn't a tournament legal color at the time
