    [Apply Within] MOTM Host

    Hey guys,
    Marker of the Month has been fun, but I’m stepping away from my hosting duties for the 2026 year. I appreciate those who have stepped up and ran the monthly contests when I couldn’t, who have voted and entered markers.

    I’ll finish December and then the Marker of the Year contests, but don’t really have the time necessary to ensure the contests are done in a timely manner.

    If anyone(s) wants to step up for the 2026 year to create the list for each month and then run the contest each month… post up here and we can take it from there. I do ask that you’re fully committed so there aren’t any lapses in the fun of it.

    If there is no interest… maybe I’ll just do a quarterly contest. Otherwise, I’ll revisit in 2027.

          I would help but I really have no idea how to do any of the imbedding of pics, creating polls, etc. I know just enough to post comments.

              I think I’m going to try something a little different, if everyone is cool with.
              I think the monthly competitions have run their course. Participation is lower, the categories are becoming redundant, and it’s just kind of more of the same.

              I think for 2026, as long as no one minds too much, I’m going to do what I said above. A quarterly poll.

              More info to come. Thank you to the guys above who volunteered. I’m going to work on a couple of logistics, then I’m going to post the announcement in the MOTM section.​
