MOTM May 2026 Phantoms!

[gnarlynick]

Put this together from the EV site early this year.

• Dual rod UC kit
• UTG AR platform grip
• CCI 12 round feed
• ASP detent SC breach
• 8" and 12" Freak bored barrels

My Phantom.Took me a while to get the ASP roundhead AC threaded barrel, ICD lever changer, CCM grip frame and ODM pump handle. I removed the picture of it in OC configuration...I missed the part of 1 picture to post, LOL. I'm currently looking for an L stock, but haven't had luck yet.

just drill another hole for the L

This still remains my favorite stock class set up. It just saw use recently in the stock class airball games at SPE 😎

The best part of this is definitely the reworked pump return spring. There is no need to pump the marker forward, you just pump the marker back, let the ball drop, and let go. Zero velocity drop off from not holding the pump handle forward either, which makes one handed shooting SUPER fun.

[RAZRBAKK]

Always loved this one. Absolute players gun.

[flyweightnate]

Ooh, I like the look of that spring and pump arm. Taking notes for my personal pistol with a DW.

[BigBalla23]

This thing is super sweet!

Phantom Pistola
Any color you like so long as it is black.
Phrameworks Gas in Grip "Phrame"
ASP Roundhead Body
ASP PR6 Phantom Pump with angled m4 grip
Inception Genesis PWR barrel with Shiv front and Muzzlebreak - Just under 10"

This was my backup at last years Pistalpalooza in Agawam. My Sheridan ate its 12gram seal and this came out. It wrecked house. Phantoms are great, no matter what the setup.

I really like the matte ano

Ol' Reliable

Bought this back in the early 2000s. Basic upgrades over the years below. Have a full stockclass phantom as well but this is still my go to.

Dual rod UC kit
Deadly wind barrel
Planet eclipse ASA
Center feed ASP detent mod
Ccm grip

Took her out this weekend, still shoots darts.

[scottieb]

The Needler is a great name for this.

[RAZRBAKK]

That feed is very cool.

[Jsc5150]

@scottieb

Thanks, I thought it was a fun concept to implement via anno. KMDPB made it look drenched in elite blood just like in the games

Props to my gf for the original idea

[Pyrate Jim]

Need to get me some glamor shots. Pretty much decided which one to enter.
Already found most of the extra bits, searching for the walnut pump handle to match the grip.

<Edit to ask>
When do submissions end? I still haven't found the matching grip.
Although I did find other neat stuff.

[StaticShocked]

Usually submissions end about the 20th of the month

[Pyrate Jim]

Couple of things. I couldn't find the matching walnut pump handle. A shame since it is unique. It's buried in there somewhere.

The vert air is different because the original matching one has no ASA. Straight bucket changer.

The longer barrel is a CCI 18" ceramic. The muzzle porting screws onto either end.

JCS Voodoo folding stock.

[Chuck E Ducky]

I think some of the early Vert were machined one piece tops. So the bucket changers top. The part that holds the piercing pin is integrated into the Vertical assembly. So you can’t pull the bucket off it’s not threaded for an ASA it’s a bucket changer only.

[$L!mBo]

@Chuck E Ducky
dang i actually like that

[RAZRBAKK]

Automag energy on that braided line.

[CatFarmers]

20260508_182052.jpg Ordered direct from CCI in ?2002? Added sight and undercocking in 2008. This one will come with me to the grave.

ODD Island Duck, just need a woosh barrel to finish her off

[Impactfour]

Sheeeeeeeesh! I haven't seen the island duck in a minute, what a gorgeous marker!

[Pyrate Jim]

I used to own it. Sold it to Slim. Glad to see it again.

[evilfishsticks]

Not the greatest picture and I'm waiting for some body and breach inserts to put it back together, but it's got anno by fuzion anodizing, asp detents, blue acrylics, i 3d printed the grips and the shorter barrel is phreaked.

[flyweightnate]

Love the ano and grip combo

[Funsi00]

IMG_3580.jpg This was assembled as a test design. To create the Averatech R7.

[RAZRBAKK]

That's a neat one. What valve body is that?

[Funsi00]

Regular phantom valve cut down.

My OTRTA

[Tippster]

Snagged this guy not long ago! I have a Dye barrel for it as well.
