MOTM August 2026 Autocockers - no pump, no electronics

August is for Autocockers. Bud Orr's birthday is in August. The first idea for the Autococker was birthed in August. Even the patent for the Autococker was granted in August.

Okay, all of that is false, but this August is for Autocockers. And we're keeping it straightedge, so no electronic anything, and also no pump kits. We'll be seeing each of those as categories in the year to come.

    Rules:
-Any Autocker, without electronicals or pump kits, are good for this month.
    - Up to two pictures of the marker.
    - You can include a description for others to know more about your submission. This is highly encouraged!
    - Of course, the marker must be yours,
    - MOTM is always open to everyone on MCB.

    Post them up!

So just WGP and derivatives thereof?
And God turned to Gabriel and said: “I shall create a land called Canada of outstanding natural beauty, with majestic mountains soaring with eagles, sparkling lakes abundant with bass and trout, forests full of elk and moose, and rivers stocked with salmon. I shall make the land rich in oil so the inhabitants prosper and call them Canadians, and they shall be praised as the friendliest of all people.”

“But Lord,” asked Gabriel, “Is this not too generous to these Canadians?”

And God replied, “Just wait and see the neighbors I shall inflict upon them."

Here’s my custom Meteor Autococker made from some parts from my old RF 99 cocker. It has a custom brass tube (LPR), old clippard ram, and brass palmers switch. The barrel is a JJ stainless steel sleeved barrel and a nickel plated frame with Belsales roller sear and SP wood grips. Shoots real nice.

Pulled this out of storage from early 2000s. Installed a new RAT valve as the PPS valve cup seal was leaking. I also installed some heavy hammer I cannot recall right off. Rebuilt PPS Fatty Reg, PPS 3 Way, and PPS Micro Rock. Benchmark 45 Frame. Installed an Inception Bolt and put on some G10 Grips and ran it with the plastic Shround on. Barrel in photo is a JJ that has been Freaked. I spanked a bunch of Highschoolers the other day my first time out in 18 years or so...and my quads were squealing for a week!

Got it as a rescue, the milling is unusual and the bolt is custom 😁

                  • Purchased it brand new in 2000. One owner.
                  • Used the heck out of it and changed most everything along the way.
                  • Cant remember what internals are in it, i think its the stock valve but i know hammer and springs are not.
                  • All idiot marks were completed by a much younger, more inexperienced, me.
                  • All milling and modifications were completed by me (body, bolt, front block). Some pre ano and some post ano.
                  • When anodizing was done about 2003ish it was setup with a matching eblade (v1) and a backup WGP chrome hinge frame. Still have them but changed it back to a slider last year.
                  • Has several anodized to match barrels. The one on its a J&J stainless two piece i believe.
                  • Most of the items changed over the years but i dont remember the brand or model of almost any of it. But it cycles and shoots smooth and satisfying, though
                  • The reg is not original, the original reg was the WGP stock reg anodized to match. I was having issues with it earlier this year and this one was supplied by BeardedWorks and the anodizing matches almost perfect.
                  • Last time on the field was June of this year.

I am a very strong believer that a paintballer with skill doesn't need a flashy or visually impressive paintball marker. That is why I spent a ton of money on building and anodizing this striking maker!
