I've got a rag tag team assembled for ICPL Windy City Classic and was hoping to get some perspective and what to expect. Lots of us are tournament players, some of us have played 10an before too, but none of us have done ICPL. Any insights?

I’m also curious about these tournaments. Do most teams practice for these events or is it pretty loose? Most of the guys who seem like they’d play in these events near me seem to mostly play recball on the weekends -

My team talked about playing ICPL after ICC got canceled this year. But I couldn’t get 10-12 to commit 100%. We just rolled our entry over for next years ICC.
I don’t know about ICPL but The classic formats are fun. 10 man is a blast it’s just hard to organize that many people. Most teams are made up of throw together teams and stacked pro teams. Very few in between. Atmosphere is awesome at these events one min your over shooting the shit out of each other the next you are buying beers for each other after the fact. I really enjoyed the Last ICC. One of my teammates was the guy who dove over the center and dunked on a guy in the middle fifty of the hyper pipe field. It was amazing!Comment
