first i love the original profiler shield
mine is carbon fiber black pattern (cant find that one again) and been using it for better part of 20 years.. just change the lens and away i go.
I won a pair of original grilz for my daughter and HATED it.
The ventilation sucked and even worse they changed the clip design that made it damn near impossible to put back on and the one i did didnt feel it was safely secured.
this version appears to clear up both problems
better ventilation and "appears" they went back to the original profiler clip system
the soft ears nice touch.

the only downside i see is what plagues most masks.
the minimalist close to the face "tournament" style size
i find myself and a good majority of the players it doesnt protect your face around the chin and especially if you oh dare to talk, yawn, ect.

if they just make them a tad bigger/longer would be much better.

i dont like tasting paint and "chin rash"

What did you dislike so much about the lens clip? I feel like the retention system on the Grill is fairly robust and easy to swap. I actually thought the Profiler was more difficult as it required a bit more elbow grease.

the original clip system was robust , easy to put on and off with no wobble
it was a (for lack of a better word) a wedge under and push down.
the grillz was a hot mess of lining up, slide tabs in , ect
i have owned many masks with a variety of retention systems
this one i was trying for at least a half hour and only got one to line up.
the it was not secure in anyway but more loose and shaky
you should not have to spend alot of time to get a tight secure connection.
they took a robust simple system and made it smaller / more complicated.
