What don’t you like about the straps most of the new ones are woven like the old OG straps. I don’t like the stiff plastics they are using on the new masks. Lens are sill sub par, but they did get better then the ones that would delaminate after single use. The gradient and HD ones are actually really nice, But they still don’t last like the old lens. I believe that it is by design to sell expensive lenses.

I agree- it's all by design to give you a subpar product for the same (if not an eventually higher) price.

I don't think the JT straps are what they used to be. Tried on a new Proflex this past summer and something about the strap was off- like it's thinner, maybe less durable. And they don't seem to be as long as the older ones. That Proflex was pretty tight when opened up all the way (I have a huge melon). This is absolutely true of the VForce masks. Profilers used to fit me reasonably well 15 years ago. The straps are so short now my head feels like a tube of toothpaste getting squeezed.

I dunno. Maybe I notice this more because my head is so big.

Financials aside, between sponsoring Dynasty and bringing John Dresser on board, I imagine that Kore is about as well-positioned to bring JT back as one could wish for.
Though I hope this recent trend of small-batch releases of anything but black proflexes changes once logistical capacity catches up again.

Something tells me the small batch releases won't change. It's a tactic to drive scarcity and demand for special edition masks. JT masks are kind of a collectors thing and I think JT is capitalizing on that.

Agreed. They definitely have some room to boost product numbers though considering how much money they’re leaving on the table to the scalpers. At least it’s free market research?

I'm dreading the day that the old Spectra/Proshield prices blow up, once the collectors realize that because the molds were destroyed, their scarcity is real and not subject to additional production runs on a whim.
