liking the 13 an 17, ive been waiting for this. round butt 17 should be perfect and a lighter 13 should be cool to. this video shows the sizes of all 3 pretty well- https://youtu.be/sMDdlbRU0LM?t=34
Just got my 17ci in the mail, it's very nice. Just a hair shorter than my first strike 88 tank, but still very comfortable for me (6'3", 6'6" wingspan). Crazy light, too.
Also, why all the hate for the first strike regs? I've had my 88ci tank since 2018 with no issues and being able to adjust the gage and fill nipple without emptying the tank is extremely convenient.

Same boat here- 6'4" & massive wingspan. Good to know. Thanks.
I wasn't really feeling these super small 45K bottles at first, but the more I play pump/limited paint the more attractive they look. I just wish they weren't so expensive. Probably just use my 45/45 until they come down in price.
I'm curious about the FS regs as well. I haven't really read anything egregious about them.
The 22 is too long in the sense it just looks odd. The 13 fits it nice, but Id imagine Ill get about 150 usable shots out of a 13/3. Thats if I got a good bore match. That should be plenty, but I have a joyride, so 150 on my back plus 21 in the gun to start.
That being said, I figured the 15 would allow me to play all the way into that joyride and still have a little air left over when we start a new match. (Or if a stranger offers me a few rounds to keep me in the game)
I need to run a bit with the 13/3 though cuz if I manage to get well into the 171 shots I can carry, then I have no need to get a fs tank. ( I doubt it)
Other than that its looks, that round tank would compliment the walz build nicely. ( hence why I want a ninja slx brass reg if I get one) i know PH regs are better designed, but the looks of the polished brass reg on that small tank ON a brass would be epic for me. Lol
I may just have to find another 17/3000. I'm not a huge fan of the FS regs and I really like the length of my 17/3000 with a Ninja reg. Looks like the Ninja on the 17/4500 would make it a little too long.
tank to tank (no reg) the First Strike difference is 1/4” longer mainly due to the rounded bottom VS the flat bottom of the 3k tank. The 3k lifetime hydro is definitely the better deal if you don’t need the extra air. Weight difference are pretty much the same. Holding them there is no noticeable difference.
There are carbon 4500psi bottles out there, very similar in dimensions used in the PCP world (air pellet guns) that are cheaper. Thing to keep in mind those bottles are NOT DOT stamped, and some are made in China (very questionable QC and are usually older born date).
They have been out a while you can usually find them on eBay with the rest of the super dangerous stuff that should never be sold. Like those fake I4 that can’t even take a few shots from a paintball But still continue to be sold as such. I’m Perfectly Ok spending a lil more for something I’m filling with massive energy and placing under my arm. I would rather have the piece of mind. Honestly you can get a aluminum 3k for half the price. For what most use it for you don’t need the extra air and it’s a lifetime hydro. So it’s one and done. The 4.5k aren’t for everyone but I’m really happy they made them. It’s a lot of fun on the back of an Emek.
