Product stress tests need to be more of a thing. I don't need a new barrel kit, but now I want this one.

I just got mine in, so I will give you my thoughts on it.
I wanted a longer control bore than a standard freak back for better consistency, so it was this or bore a bull barrel for XL inserts, same amount of money.
These guys are light, 3.07 ounces, compared to a freak back at 2.65 without a tip. It surprised me when I picked it up the first time.
The shoulder is short, 1 inch past the threads, and drops to .800 as opposed to .850 like most of my other non bull barrels.
This looks a little strange on my pump guns, but not horrible. I do notice more wiggle without the extra barrel in the back.
The ports start 8 1/4 up from the threads
The short shoulder will not support a cocker shroud, I tried six different ones. It will hold in the back, but float around up front. I can fix it with a shim I guess.
The bag is really nice, like a $30 add on, when I would have been fine with canvas for a cheaper price. I can fit two barrels in each pocket, so extra room for some others.
The gloss black is slightly less "deep" black than my Sidewinders and other gloss parts. A non-issue for me, and something you wouldn't notice unless you looked for it.
I am pretty sure I can make it do what I need it to do, aside from shoot straight.

This would probably look bangin' on a pre-2k factory black WGP then (I have a '96 w/a Slice kit). Thanks for the post.

I've been using the PAT - only great things to report. Highly recommend you all check some out.

So, it's been a couple of months now. Anyone else get some to use or have some thoughts/opinions on these?

Right now I've got a ton of barrels kicking around until I find what I like. Thinking about giving the PAT kit a run.

I have been using it when i play, only time i have not is when the paint has been ridiculously large. Seems to do the job just fine.

Been using the PAT kit today with my automag. Seems to be working well, shooting through breaks nicely. The unassuming look fits well with the mag, and my barrel cam mount fits great.
