Just watched Simon talk about this on Facebook. Quite like the details on the kit. He said if anyone is 3D printing parts or looking to bore barrels for the inserts to contact him and he'll provide the specs. Awesome that he supports the community like that. For those wondering, the big difference in this inserts is how the ball enters the barrel. These are designed for balls to enter more smoothing into the barrel, helping to eliminate barrel breaks.

He also mentioned that he's got a number of plans for autocockers, but as they're a small shop it'll take time to get to those.

I have tested these out now, definitely a solid barrel system. Nice long control bores, milled from solid blocks rather than extrusions, barrel chamfer is nice and smooth, back centers well with the tips (good alignment).

No one feature amazed me, but they are very well made and designed. I am a fan of the stella barrels, and these are right there with the rest of them.

Depending on the chamfer of the entry ramp into the barrel, this might finally be a good system for Carter Machine users to have long control bores.

It does hold the insert quite firmly. The chamfer is not as long as my Carters have been, but I am thinking it would work.
If someone wants to test this theory LMK. I don't have a Carter with removable AC barrel at this time. @chuckyducky do you still have a Buzzard locally to me?

I sold the buzzard. I do have a Carter Duck but I don’t know if the handle will clear that barrel.

I know the system works well with the Gargoyle I have, it has a similar issue to carters where there is no "backstop" for a freak insert to sit against. Can't use non o-ring freak backs (like ones getting bored at BMC) on that gun, but I used the PWR inserts last time I played.

I love the new asa. Big fan of the smack up vs push back. Stella XL and acculock are my favorite barrels so gonna pass on the pe type.

I might buy a few of those ASA for my Emeks. They look nice.

The ASAs are really well made. More girth, and extends out longer than the stock/POPS ASAs. I also think the slap vs push motion is cool. However, I ran into an issue with my Powerhouse reg pin being too long and this ASA engaging it too early. Simon said that some of the modern reg makers are using too long of pins and to try and find a shorter replacement or even shaving down the pin on the ASA or tank reg. Powerhouse does sell shorter ones, but I opted to just keep it simple and stick with the POPS.
