    CS3 and Dye/Lurker Teaser

CS3 announced and you can watch the stream with the details here. They mention a new mech frame for the CS3 as well.

Also Dye has a teaser for 11/9 with their logo inside Lurker's logo, so I am guessing that Lurker marker is finally going to be a thing.

CS3 looks pretty good. New drive train to help distinguish it more from the Gammas is a win, plus new ergos on the grip.

Gotta say, I like between the CS1, CS2, CS3 and Geo 4 PE has not been afraid to mess with ergos between runs.

It's not a "new drivetrain." It's an optimized Gamma.

20% more efficient but not sure how you prove softer on paint when the previous ones don't break paint but sounds nice.

I don't like the look of the new barrels I hate windowed stuff. CSR still had the coolest looking barrel.

Ergos look nice I like that they slimmed it down the grips look well designed. I really like the feel of the CS2 grips over my CSR grips. CS3 look even better. I don't know about $1749.95 better.

Even if they can't "prove" it with paint, they can prove it with math. Rare as it is in paintball, Jack Wood is an actual mechanical engineer. And he's absolutely the type to do the math.

Right but how do you prove it fix’s a non existent problem 20% better. It’s not like you can feed /carry more brittle paint. They already shoot paint down to the point it breaks in the pods and hoppers before it even makes it to the marker. Was more my point. Now if it shoots shit paint better then well that I can get behind. Cuz it’s all crap paint today. I get why he makes the claim it’s marketing I'm sure he can back it up with math.

The aspects relating to paint handling are identical to the CS2 (first stage orifice, breech design), with a *small* drop in pressure. For all intents and purposes, the CS3 handles paint like the CS2. Just fine.

Agreed on the new insert barrel system, I wouldn't ever use it. And also good point, these bolts are already so good on paint it's hard to imagine it doing any better.

Improved ergos is always a plus, I like what they did with the buttons and trigger assembly not allowing paint and gunk inside the frame.

Yeah definitely a quality of life improvement, I agree.

That Mech frame is cool. I do want to try it but I’m still sticking with my old work horse Emek we been threw some stuff together.

Same, Emek is too good for the price tag. I had a mech CS2 for a little while and the ergonomics on that were amazing. Trigger has a very quality feel to it, but if your'e after fast then the triggers and valves offered on the Emek/170R will make them much quicker.

Love what they've done to the CS3, with the super low-pressure OP Core. I understand why they charge $1,750 (which is about $2,300 for us Canadians), but since I'm 100% a recball guy and given the excellent gear (Etha, Emek, DSR, etc.) we can obtain for a fraction of that I'm not thinking of getting one soon, unless I decide to go nuts and splurge. I know, I'm not the target market for it and anyone with the means and desire to get one would get a solid thumbs up from me.

IF I decided to buy a super high-end I would usually go for the LV2 (or perhaps a cheap, used Geo 4), but now I'd definitely go with the CS3. THAT would now be my gun of choice.

I haven't heard the details from the stream about the CS3 mech frame, but that would be the ultimate setup for sure.

So the "OP" (over power) Core is 50% more volume than CS2 with operating pressure of 95-105 PSI. Shorter bolt stroke. New "FT" (finger tip) bolt tip, something about the shot sequence and that all is claimed to be a a15-20% increase in efficiency over the CS2.

The OP Core is a Gamma Pro Core (as seen in the CS2) with a couple small efficiency tricks (that DLX happened to apply to the TM40), primarily to advance valve closure. The CS2 operates at 105 psi, so don't get too caught up in "lower pressure." The shorter bolt stroke is nice, as PE has utilized excessive strokes for a long time. The FT tip was introduced with the LV2 and is compatible in the previous IV and Gamma ST bolts.

Same. If they're going to be anything like what was first shown by Lurker it's gonna be awesome.

It's a Dye marker - don't think for a second it'll look or feel like the OG Paragon concept.

I really like the aesthetics of the CS3. Especially the trigger guard. That was the first thing I noticed. No curvatures, just straight, simple & elegant. The detent cover pairs really nicely with it.

            Is "DLS" a confirmed name imped4now ?

Either way, I think it will be a good showing for Dye. Between the DSR+ mech frame, and this new platform, it seems like they'll have solid competitors for PE's products.

The old Lurker Paragon video can be found here. We'll see how close to this it will be.

Another teaser with a bit of what looks like a milled body in the background: https://fb.watch/gDi4XVAyat/

Hopefully the "limited edition" is just for this release, or world cup specific anno.
