Very interesting idea with the clutch ring, I would like to shoot one.

Funny how I always reach for my DM4 with evolve bolt, despite owning every dye model produced.

That'd be odd. Unless it's a profit margin thing, they have Freeflow well positioned to be their Adrenaline or Twister-like PL house.

According to Badlands advertising they are making 530 of these globally.

We don't know the language of the purchase contract. Maybe Lurker didn't want to see his design bought to be shelved, as many vehicle manufacturers do, and included a build/release clause with a time frame or rights would revert.

            That’s an interesting thought.

Lol the number keeps going up. It was 400 yesterday, than I saw 500 this morning, now 530.

500 is the official number, folks.

It will be interesting to see if the Paragon core gets released for the DSR+ eventually. Or if we continue to see Paragon core versions of later releases, similar to how the DLS is like a Paragon M3.

The Paragon Core would not be compatible with the existing DSR. It would need to be a bespoke body to support the core. I also wouldn't expect that.

I suppose what I mean is a Paragon version of the DSR, using a similar body and grips. not sure how different that would be from the DLS though.

Yeah, I wouldn't foresee that. I won't be surprised to see future markers with the Paragon Core in the future, though.

So the gambit is, are we looking at a Dye one-off or a replacement for the m3+?

maybe depends on how it does in the wild.

Only 500 units feels like this is a labor of love. But maybe supply chains play a role too.

              hope it does well.

It's a passion project or a love letter to the Paragon. It is not an M3 replacement, but a limited, unique release.

With an eigenbarrel as God intended haha.

                Looks killer with those grips.

I was very interested mostly due to the difference in engineering and design. But I couldn’t justify the price tag not playing tournaments anymore.

                    Cool marker nonetheless.

I've put about 1000 shots through it, yes.
