My guess is that this is a DSR+ with different milling, IM Pro Kit and both single and and double trigger frames. As per usual in FF drops, you're choice of anodizing.Comment

The economy isn’t where it should be & cockers are very expensive to make. And with most people shooting spoolers, cockers are somewhat niche in the mech tournament market. Dye caters to the tourney market, so they will make what those players will buy. No one makes cockers right now aside from Freeflow, and they only do short runs. If they do make a Reflex (& I don’t think they will anytime soon, if at all) I fully expect FF to make it & only in short runs. -

My prediction is with the current nostalgia driven market that they are re-releasing a private label Dye LCD. Probably with a 8” drop forward, a steel boomstick and a reproduction 88/45 armaggedon tank.

Hope its a halfway decent dedicated mech that doesn't require buying a $1200 gun first, just to add a $250 frame.
But then again knowing freeflow prices.... who am I kidding. Love their stuff but I don't sit in the correct tax bracket to be playing in their pond all day.Comment

These limited releases by Dye are the best news I have seen in a very long time. They see the monetary value of their markers are complete and utter trash, yet they are not producing throwaway guns. Dye makes some quality, high-end products, the more they stay on this path they will be forced to find innovation making these collaborations appealing each time.
Why should anybody buy a $1.8k gun to know the minute they leave the store they are golden if they get $800 for it in resale value?
The only problem i see now is everyone wants the paragon bolt as a staple moving forward, well then there was no point to the DLS and nothing special about it. Dye will need to stick to their guns and keep these releases limited, their markers will become coveted.
The more Dye works with FreeFlow, the more resources will be put into everything else they do together and that reaches back to people like us into older markers.Comment

Its not much, but for those who don't have a FB page, this is now their background. Its kinda giving me Cobra/Mamba Angel vibes. Most have concluded that it is likely going to be a sort of private label DSR+. If it won't completely kill my bank account I think I'm in for one, especially if they offer them like the cockers and can get it anodized with your choice of ano/shop.

Man, that is some beautiful milling. We're pretty much set that it's a DSR+, right? I wonder how many will be made. Surprised they're showing it with the electronic frame, considering the original name was "Mech 'Trix", especially since they've got their own version of the DSR+ mech frame.Comment

People are still waiting on their cockers, but they are also way harder to put together than a modern spool.
