Nova N4 Odin dropped at $199

Man and I just bought an Etha 3M. I’m definitely picking one up in January though, kinda hard to pass at that price point

What the heck, I might as well buy one lol, I don't know if I will use it all that much since I love my automags and shoeboxes, but I am weak to shiny new things

Tempting, but the $200 pricetag is deceptive ... That's without barrel ...

I thought they had a proprietary barrel?

No these are cocker threaded. Add your barrel and you're good at $199. For $20 more you can get the aluminum feedneck. Still, without a barrel, add the feedneck and on/off and you're at around $250. That's not bad.

Alright, it is less bad than I thought 👍

Does the barrel reciprocate on this one?

True, but it’s AC threaded right? I’d just pick up a Custom Products .685 for $25 and call it a day. The ASA I can live without but I think I’m going to want the clamping feed neck. So like $250, that ain’t bad

Yeah, I went ahead and ordered, I didn't get a barrel. I figure I have freak inserts all the way down to .675 and all the way up to .697 so I should be good. I play with a Shocker normally so I am used to playing with a closed bolt marker that doesn't even have ball detents, I figure since the n4 has a ball detent when the breach is open that is an upgrade even lol.

I did add on an on/off ASA even though I doubt I will use it, I usually play with a gas thru stock with a on/off that will bleed the remote line and a slide check on the other end, so I only occasionally play with my tank actually mounted to a gun but, I figure I might as well it isn't an expensive add on.

So the six piece sleeve kit, is that a barrel insert kit? As in the same inserts as the N3?

I thought I saw a video of them machining one of the sleeves, if that is in fact what I saw. Id say they are just short wegits that fit in the barrel. Think of the techt or python kit cut down to just sizer rings. There was a kit like that back in the day.

Essentially the sizers would be a wegit vs a control bore. (My assumption from the facebook short I saw)

Wasn't there a mech Ion configuration that somehow would shoot from a closed bolt? Is that how the internals of this thing work?

Saw they will also offer aluminum lowers for a fully metal marker, but jacks the price way up.

I bought one last night with the On/Off ASA and no barrel. I'm looking forward to putting it through it's paces and will make a shooting video. Heck, maybe I'll even do a review of it.

I'm excited to try this. I'm wanting to put it through it's paces and if it does well try to convince the owner of the field I work at to stock these to fill the gap between the emek and tippmans

This is much more appealing to me than their other offerings.

I picked one up, with a barrel. I believe the barrel inserts are the same as the N3 and N1 barrel inserts.

It should get here before a mech tournament on the 11th, so I'll be handing it out to several folks and hopefully will get plenty of feedback.

Well, I don't live in Cali, and neither does everyone here. Same for shipping. Talk about the fixed cost, as taxes and shipping are variable (and likely 0 if you buy in person at an event)

Honestly, who doesn't have autocker barrels to use on this? I think selling it without a barrel for less money is a great idea.
