Maybe, looks like they are closing down where they are, some battle with the land owner. They say they are looking for a new location.

I HOPE that a fresh start can give them a kick in the ass. They have never taken safety seriously and I really think it will take a serious injury to make them wake up but at that point it's too late for whoever gets that injury.

Heard that this was gonna happen, the land is just too valuable not to log, and they have been leasing it all these years. Really sucks as to my knowledge, they were the oldest paintball field in Oregon. I have great memories of the Civil War event they host.

      RIP.

My local field, Hell Survivors, has been running continuously since at least 1984. Which I believe is a little longer.

Nonetheless sorry to hear your field is closing.

Ah my bad then, it must have just been the oldest one in Oregon then.

They are the oldest in Oregon. And I think they have always qualified that with a "continuous" so I'm wondering if there's a field in Oregon that older but had to take a break at some point

I want to say SC village in California may have the title of oldest and still operating but that could be wrong

That sucks. Played a lot of games out there. I even built a couple of the bunkers on the hill overlooking Khe San back in the 90's. Labor for field fees was a pretty good deal for a brokeass high school kid. Maybe John will be able to open up another field... however it goes they had a good long run.

My first game was at that field. Still have good memories from there. Got hit in the foot and thought, "paintball doesn't hurt that bad."

That's the biggest issue with paintball, it takes a decent amount of space or land. High rent/lease pricing makes indoor fields tough to operate and the ever growing value of property near residential areas make it hard to justify the effort of running a paintball field. Sad times for us.
