Yeah I remember seeing that on Facebook a few months ago. Not the first time they’ve blatantly ripped tippmann off.

I'd really love this with an inline asa so you could run a 13ci with a buttstock.

Edit: just looked into it more and that's an option, this could be a fun project marker or magfed entry level option.

          More or less.
The Ripsaw based on the Blackhawk so it's also based on the '98.

Tippmann's own Stormer Elite would almost directly be a magfed Cronus.

Also the side cocking mechanism looks promising for pump or bolt action conversions.

Chronos looks like it might be an upgrade, this looks more like a mag feed FT12

On paper, at least, this one has some things going for it.
                First Strike capacity.
                Autococker threads.
Modular magwell so that it can take Eclipse and DYE mags.

Right, at that pricetag there's some fun project potential here

I think that the AC threading and option for DYE/PE mags are huge features. This is basically just a Tippmann Stormer for Valken fields to carry, but this one will actually set people up with gear that might work with their next gun. Magfed people love to get accessories, now the rifled barrels and extra mags could fit an EMF down the line.

First Strike capability for 190 bucks? Sounds like a good deal to me, if they hold up to at least moderate abuse.

Presumably that's because it uses the same internal design as a Tippmann Cronus/TMC/Stormer, where a linkage bar from the trigger allows the sear and other trigger parts to be shifted aft and the grip frame shifted forward. This makes the gun more compact overall because the hammer can sit behind the shooter's hand instead of above it like on an M98.

Good way to store it without the spring or detent compressed. Going to the basement now to do this on the .50 cal Blackhawks.

Is there any new info on this? Basic internet searches still come up with very little & I don’t do the facebag or twitter. I want to pick one up whenever they are released.

Were there any options to choose from in the pre order (ie colour, mag type, air configuration, etc)?

Toestr just the color unfortunately - from what I've seen on some of the Vegas pre-order stuff it seems like they are offering different configurations (air-through-stock or air-through-grip mainly). Frankly though I'm getting tired of waiting and the communication has been 0 from Valken so I'm going to look for a used EMF instead.

mrfangs You will be much happier with the EMF100, even given the higher price. My guess is if you don’t stick with mag-fed and decide to sell, you’ll lose less money going the used EMF100 route.

I really like the looks of the rear asa one, now if it can easily be converted to pump/bolt action I might have to snag one when I finish all my other paintball projects (in 5 or so years...)

I hope you have long arms because that length of pull looks looooong. The 26ci one is just 😳

Hahaha fair. I've got some odd dimensions, I'm about 5'8" with a 6' wingspan, so maybe it would work out

I had a TMC for a little while, and the 13ci felt alright. A little long, but not too long. But the 22ci was a hard no. You need orangutan arms for that.
