New Russian made Paintballs “Pro Shar”

Well new to the US. I guess they have been in Europe for a while. They are replacing Valken this year for NXL. Anyone shot some yet? I was going to order a case of the premium but it looks like they are sold out.

How can you resist with packaging like this? Makes me want to crush a Bud Latte, rip my sleeves off into a tank top, and dig into a case.

I would have appreciated the packaging had it featured Adidas track suits, Slav squatting, and, upon opening, the smell of extra-cheap Russian cigarettes while hard bass was blasting.

Dang. The Red Menace artwork looks like the October Guard and the America First box looks like the cast of “I’m a Shame Minstrel, Get Me Out of Here!”.

Some people would take offense to being pandered to/insulted like that...but probably not a single tournament paintball player.

That’s the mid grade paint. Tournament stuff is just a basic logo on the box. Life is to short to be offended by everything. I think It’s funny how the world views American stereotypes.

Yup, people need to stop taking themselves so seriously. I love the irreverence of the artwork.

Haven't gotten a chance to shoot it yet, but I've heard nothing but good things from friends who have.

I’m not offended by it one bit, I think it’s hilarious. It’s even more hilarious that paintballers often look...exactly like that, at least here in the midwest. I mean...it is deliberately insulting to the sort of family’s who’s most valuable heirloom is this year’s top of the line electro. Juggalos and such. To those sorts of sad bastards any recognition is welcome, I guess. I don’t think it’s even possible to offend those people.

Only thing I’m offended about is the lack of mullets.

That’s a pretty outdated stereotype. Carnies and rednecks usually just shave it all off nowadays.

I was about to come in here and be like "YO Pro Shar is OOOOOLD" but then read the OP lol. In fairness Pro Shar has been available at NXL events for at least a year an a half. I can't remember if last season was the first time it was offered or if it was the year before that. I have not shot it, but I remember in Vegas last year teams were saying it was the stuff to shoot. They were sold out by the time we got there, so we shot 5 Star instead.

Also, freakin love the box. It's a brutally honest depiction of America. I hope people are offended by it.

Oh I must have watched an older video from extravaganza. They were saying that they are now distributing paint in the US and replacing Valken at NXL. I haven’t been to a NXL event in a while. last time I played was 10man in Philly we shot that HK paint and I carried 9 cases to my car because we purchased to much and I wasn’t going to let good premium paint go to waste. I’m curious how well this stuff shot.

They have been distributing in the US to fields for almost 2 years now. I think I still have a sample baggie tossing around from early 2019 when they visited the field/store I was working at.

I've shot this and their standard green shell pro shar, and as a weird name as it is.. it's actually one of the BEST shooting paintballs I've shot. I will choose this as default, and that American box one is gold shell so if it's bright and sunny outside, it's actually a little bit harder to see the long balls.

I'm not sure if that packaging is just blatantly making fun of the us or is trying to speak to some rogue redneck paintball element out there... Or both

So are these made in Russia and shipped or are they producing them more regionally the company is just owned in Russia?

Saw a box that at a newer local field. Not that grade, but that brand. One of our crew said they used the stuff for a local mech event & it sucked.

Anyone who thinks that’s offensive needs to get over it.

Also on the other side of the box is an astronaut with a paintball gun and an alien with a paintball gun. Lol, it's a pretty cool box.
