    SuperDead Paintball Clear Shield(ish) Bottoms

    whaddya think?
they were only available to folks that had a passcode, sold out fast and are reselling for double the original price.
a cool idea, but the hypebeast style release and scalpers always make me weary. tends to be more trouble than its worth. price waaaay too steep for me too.

Lots of hype on these on the bookface. They seem quite expensive and let’s hope they’ve passed safety testing.

I’ve truly given up on trying to understand the JT market and how much money people spend…. But I also want those people to buy all my JT stuff I still need to sell.

Simply put modern JT stuff is garbage and whoever is in charge of their marketing needs to be fired. Prices wouldnt be insane if they just produced standard color proflexes in the original style molds. Hopefully more companies fill the gap with flex parts.

Doubtful since The current owners are going after people who are making aftermarket parts

I don't think you needed a pass code to get them, at least a friend of mine and I didn't lol

This is the first I've hears of them. I'd buy a pair for normal prices, one day maybe. Lol

Jeebus-effing-Christmas! As much as I love classic Proshields, that's one hell of a big "No" from me.

While neat I really hate the fashion hype beast aesthetic of the game lately.

What are people up selling them for?

Is SuperDead out of NJ? I have played with a bunch of those players modeling them.

                I want one to dye.

$300 originally, $5-600 folks reselling before anyones even gotten theirs yet.
Pretty sure they are based out of England.

I don’t think I want one that bad. I like my purple proshield to much.

They say they have beet thoroughly tested, I know the short-lived JT version from forever ago shattered easily.

I get "clear" flex bottoms being cool, they aren't really clear, but I think actually being able to see your face is really strange.

I still tend to equate clear or translucent with brittle. I've got old Revvy and Scion shells that taught me to think that way.

I don't see the appeal. Most paintballers I know are ugly enough with their face covered.

While new old-style shield bottoms that are a bit longer in the chin sound awesome, $300 crosses the line into "Not just NO, but fuck you" territory.
