Honestly I suspect some of their popularity issue is what seems to be constant inventory issues for Virtue/BK and until now I am not aware of a large amount of customization. I didnt mind my CMD (which is basically a VIO really) but the micro visor was dumb, ended up putting a real visor on it but with the way the micro visor is shaped you cant run a fan at all which is a big one for me, I trimmed it to put a fan on it and then just said screw it and bout an e-flex and haven't even used that was with the fan I installed haha. I will give them credit thought that the HD and HD gradient (bronze to clear or what ever you want to call it) is a really good shade level and color that I wish more makers would do. JT has a bronze that isnt bad but just a bit darker that I really want (but will probably be fine when I am on field).

But yeah selling it all to together I find weird. If someone buys it they are likely going to configure it the way they want and then have two extra lowers and an extra set of ears that never see use. Maybe a few people will change them out occasionally for fun but really just creates a lot of waste. Seems like if they sold the base and then all the extras they would have less waste and more sales... but from what I understand they also really source based on runs from overseas so that may be a bit of a difficulty for them maintaining inventory so maybe they think they can flood the market with extra parts that people trade and sell without having to stock said parts.

When the VIO came out, you had near endless color combos, with 3 different size/shapes to the bottoms. Might not have been quite as many options as proflexes, but you could easily build a unique mask that no one else would have. I went with a pretty standard color combo on mine, and haven't seen one like it.

I don't like full size visors, I'm one of the few weirdos that love the little mini one. I also loved the Profiler bounce crown <3

the mini visor looked cool in the pictures but just was not functional at all. Granted every mask ive had since 2001 has had a visor on it and it will be a cold day in hell before my visors get taken away haha

as to the original bios, I havent held the bios in my hands, only had the CMD so I assumed the VIOs were all one piece like the CMD, interesting though. I mean I appreciate that companies are making more customizable masks now to try and keep up with eh profile (and frankly JT needs to step it back up with actually producing options again cause the modern ones are mostly boring or you have to go to the small custom runs that some suppliers have gotten that are just hydro dipped).

Unless they offer a bunch of different colors and let you pick the other colors it's kinda pointless if you ask me it's just a regular vio with a few updates, for tha price I would probably just get a crbn mask

As long as they keep making lens I’m happy. I got a BK mask when they dropped the new colors and the old colors were heavily discounted. I will probably get one of those cool purple ones when people don’t buy them. All the extra stuff seems like a waste and added cost for no reason. They should do a build a mask how you want and discount it. Profit margin would be about the same and you might get that Flex like market with people hunting for pieces.

If they come out with cool colors and patterns I bet they could be super popular. The lens are super durable and the masks don’t fog. The HD lens gives Dye a run for there money and cost a lot less.

I still think Dye has the most optical Clarity. But the lenses are nowhere near as durable as the virtue. Virtue stay clearer longer.

That's why I love them. They're not the best off the shelf lens for clarity, but I absolutely beat the shit out of them and they hold up.

Looks really nice. Like others, I like that dual strap. I wish Virtue masks fit me better because I really like their masks, there is just something about my stupid fat face that doesn’t sit right in them. This reminds me that I need to sell my Extends mask that I’ve only worn once!

Vios are only good for their clears. They take dye really well, and are cheaper than CRBNs. Even the Ascend clears are really nice for dying.

Just my opinion. They're solid masks, I'm just not a huge fan. Don't know why they aren't more popular, but there it is.

And yes, the BK HD Gradient lens is absolutely amazing.
