Crbn released RX lens inserts

I just got an E-mail from CRBN paintball on these, and was instantly intruiged. Not something I necessarily need yet, but I think these are a sweet solution for people who need corrective lenses while playing.

It looks like the Carbon mask may not be able to hook onto the goggle frame with the youzee's

In my proflex and EVS I use youzee's and 100% love them.

Now we need one that's universal. As much as I would like to use one, I don't think I'll be paying CRBN prices any time soon. I only learned this year how bad my eyesight actually was, and haven't quite adapted to wearing glasses on the field.

Meh, I'd recommend YouZee for my fellow blind peeps. They're universal inserts that can be swapped between masks/goggles. Highly recommend, they're the same price and dont require any special mounting solutions and snap in and out in seconds.

So.... for myself, personally, I can't see this being a good solution unless I'm swapping my glasses on every time I pull my mask off - I'm extremely nearsighted and can't see anything clearly past a couple of feet - but I see how this could work for some players.

I'll stick to contacts myself - I've been very happy with my decision to finally get some for paintball.

Cool in theory but like... I don't really see the need. I wear glasses all the time, cannot wear contacts (amblyopia). I even have large-ish frames, and wearing them with a mask is perfectly fine. Outside of fogging (which I've never had a problem with, and this wouldn't fix anyway), I don't see why you'd ever have a problem wearing glasses with a mask.

I have a youzee. I'm quite happy with it

I have bad astigmatism, which requires heavily weighted contacts, that are difficult to play in, like when you are sideways they shift because you blinked and everything goes out of focus..

I have become as good of a shot as I used to be because I can watch the ball a lot longer in the air than I used to

ive never considered CRBN but this looks well constructed. Looking at their masks, seems pretty cool. (also spendy)

I might try this setup, will update the thread if that happens.

I've used SportRX stuff for a few years, it works but they aren't the easiest to put in the carbon masks, this seems like a good option. I would hope it would be easy to get updates for the lenses too since I have to change mine every few years.
