Can’t say in terribly surprised…
Theres so many better looking designs out there now… even by XMT. It’s weird to me that he thought the Classic would do so well.
I think he had a good opportunity to have them happen, I think his biggest drawback was making the pre-order though AO only cause while I did share it to FB, a lot of people want that instant gratification and don't want to hassle with signing up for a forum that they're only gonna use once to get a body.
Also from a manufacturers standpoint I see why he chose to do the the classic body styles, for one, he already did them so unless he's doing everything on manual machines(I doubt) he already has the program written up for it. And from seeing how many people own new Luke Bodied mags(only using this as an example cause he's the only one who has aftermarket builds readily available), you're not gonna see 40 people let alone 20 people run to buy/pre-order.
Yeah I know from me sharing it on Facebook, I had a few people contact me on how to pre-order and kinda seemed disappointed/disinterested once I told them they had to make an AO account lol
Would it be weird to broker for the people that don't have an AO account? There a lot of trust needed there, but if it fills the pre-orders I would be tempted.
I don't think it would be weird but it would definitely take a lot of trust in people. At this point with the people who currently are signed up, the one person would probably have to foot the bill, said person would be responsible for buying around 20 of them(approximately 5,000$ total, an immediate 1,000$ deposit)
