Meteor spool valve closed bolt mechanical

Meteor is releasing a spool mech, but also closed bolt. Said to be around the $500 mark.

It looks like an all aluminum Emek, but with some crazy looking milling lol.

The milling kills it for me. I'd send it off to get all that extra stuff milled off, "pipe" style like those DSRs

I think mech tournament rules are supposed to be pretty strict about triggers / trigger guard size. Guessing that restricts manufacturers that are trying to appeal to that crowd.

History has shown it's easier to convince a significant other you need another marker based on a closed vs. open bolt design than any other feature you can throw at a product.

this one literally sucks the balls in..... 😉 but seriously I did the ol paper trick on the early prototype and it vacuumed it in. It's been a few months since I shot it, but did like it a lot. Bodies are Forged then finished on a CNC.

I'm excited about this. I have one of the NOVA N4 (close bolt) and with all of its quirks the shot profile is nice, it just looks like a toilet paper roll. Close bolts IMO are better.........................drop.......and in the World of mechs they are the only way.......................drop #2.....................lol

I'll more than likely be getting one, but I really want a brick body.. I had actually been toying around with the idea of making a body for my closed bolt ion kit, this may save me some tinkering...

I am excited by the specs, less so by the milling. But I am team closed bolt all the way, so I'd say I will definitely be picking one of these up to play with.
