New Nova 3-Way - for Sliders!

Looks like Belasals/ANS barb spacing. My guess is they are using that spec. I'm not sold on the adj collar thing as 1. this another part that needs to be anodized, 2. subject to machining QC (NOVA is not so good with this). I do like the shape kind of Old School Bomb look but not. My real concern is this is just another knee jerk response to another Manufacture just releasing a three way, and with that sometimes testing goes out the window to just "Get it out".
I wish they would have just finished their 5way spool to work with the slider as many are still waiting on this. And what happened to the N5 Destroyer, the N4 Oden, The Close bolt, N2, the Gen 2 guardian Reg, BUT if they get it right I'm ecstatic for another different looking 3way. In all not holding breath.Last edited by docfire; 08-16-2025, 09:31 AM.-
Gen 2 N4 is amazing. That seems like it's ready to go to production. The N5 seems ot have problems and that's why they pulled it for now. There is talk about a gen 2 N5 coming. The closed bolt N2 is also amazing. I field tested both the Closed Bolt N2 and Gen 2 N4 at Monster Game.
I really like the feel of breaking up the reciprocating mass with the cycle times of the N2. Made it much easier to rip a fat rope.
The N4 was a prototype but it was fully fuctional. I was getting speeds much closer to the upgraded trigger on the OG N4. Can't wait to see it with a terrair equivanant when it goes to production.
Unfortunately, I can't speak to the other concerns/products you are referring to.

Is there still a market for Cocker parts?
Genuine question, I've completely lost touch with the paintball world and its trends at this point.Comment

The pb world is weird with its multiple niches of play, thus the desires of the players.
There are the Speedballer/tourny players that seem to look at autocockers, mags, and pumps as classic (museuem) pieces and don't much care to play with them. They just want to blast ropes of paint.
There is the old head type, that is interested in the old gun systems and will still play with them. Mostly rec just for fun, or there's the tinkering/building part which just a weird version of Lego. This is who would be interested in cocker parts, but if they aren't made well then what's the point because this is a smaller market in a small market.
But there are still a handful of companies willing to make stuff and I think it is great! Overall though, there's not a huge market outside of MCB haha and most are probably grabbing pneumies from Inception, Shocktech, or just re-building old stuff.
I would like to see more body parts, but there isn't many companies that want to tackle those projects with the slim margins. The smaller guys that do it are awesome though, just the prices reflect the pain it is to make cool cocker parts.
Or any older gun parts for that matter, I love the people here still making stuff to better PGPs, Sterlings, Mags, etc.
Most of the trends outside of our MCB bubble are just fast, consistent, easy to maintain. Which has led to the boring tourney guns, but I agree the maintence is insanely nice on newer guns.

I think they're almost exclusively producing future oddball collectibles. I'm slowly picking them up and stacking them next to my old Mayhem, Assault 80 Open Bolt, Assault 80 Closed Bolt, Assault 80 Reciprocating Barrel, SuperNova, Sonic, etc etc.I wish they would have just finished their 5way spool to work with the slider as many are still waiting on this. And what happened to the N5 Destroyer, the N4 Oden, The Close bolt, N2, the Gen 2 guardian Reg, BUT if they get it right I'm ecstatic for another different looking 3way. In all not holding breath.
Reminds me I do want to get one of those N5 Destroyers for the pile, that one marker has a higher part count than half my collection together.

I can't wait to see how many people scratch their front blocks instead of just installing it with loctite. This doesn't make sense to me.BeardedWorks.com (Your Inception Designs and Shocktech Dealer)
