Its not really about speed for me - I like that lense and strap changes are far less hard on the strap and frame. the frames are easier to clean, and removable foam mounts a huge plus

minuses - color, off the shelf foam not great, wish the frame was a little thinner with square inside edges.

I was hoping they would release a camo print one (to match the proshield pattern) but, isn't this a stiffer plastic (the outermost, most forward part of the frame), like a polycarbonate or such? If that's the case, it may take a painting pretty well.

I think you will see a bunch of colors they are going to get there moneys worth out of the investment to bring them back.

So far I have seen Gloss Black, Gloss White, Clear, Gray, and Blood Red.

I really want to see OG style pro shields come back in new colors. JT screwed up making hard bottom versions of the proflex.

I wish they would follow recent changes with ski goggles where they are now using magnets to hold in the lenses which truly makes for a quick and easy lense change. My new Smith goggles have a tab that needs to be manually depressed on either side and then it's magnets holding it all around on the rest of the frame. Far easier and faster than previous designs.

Curious to see how such a mechanism holds up to repeated paintball strikes. Very different use case after all.

Agreed I would not trust a magnet to take strike after strike over time like it needs to in paintball.

I had the same thought as well, it would need to be a combination of physical and magnets. For my ski goggles anyway, it's hard to describe, there is still a physical tab on both sides that has to be depressed to release the lense, it is the main securing mechanism. But it is a single tab on each side that is easy to operate. The magnets take the place of all the little tabs and slots along the rest of the frame that are always such a pain in the you know what to get all lined up correctly. At least for me that is the part that always took so long

Boy thats crazy to see the two facing off. the JT looks huge. I really like my pushes and have a huge head, but did recently bust out my OG thins frame olive spectras and gave them a little make-over, and realized I should have just stuck with them - light - classic style that never gets old, endless customization.

Classic never going out of style. Those push masks are form fitting and super low profile. The lenses are really nice too. But something about the Flex keeps me coming back.

Thanks the Pro DNA straps are pretty sweet they are woven and have metal buckles for $20 they are awesome. Im a big fan of the old school proshield and hard ears. I like the fades especially when not running a visor. In the shade you can told your head back and still see good and the tint up top keeps the glare down. Built this one to match my favorite Stock Class setup. I got one of those magnetic buckle for the chin strap the new frames have holes in them to mount to the bottom of the frames as well.
          Working...
