It’s junk and breaks easily and is super expensive to replace. Mine stripped out after very little use and I haven’t used the mask since.

This was my first thought as well. I had a i3 for my second mask, I don't feel the need to go back. It certainly didn't do anything my current mask can't

I couldn't tighten my i5 down as much as I wanted any my brother in law has now broken 2 of the ratchets by just using them

I sold my i5 and kept my i4 as a backup but moved on to a push unite

Dealbreaker for me, the lens was impossible to get out. Makes the proflex seem like light work.

Thankful I stuck with occasional outlaw Woodsball, Tigerstripes and my olive spectra's through that whole period of paintball. 4 inch Chrome flame drop forwards on your 3foot tall intimidator will look sweat with those i3's!

One thing to give DanB a foot massage and really is still enough for me to not want to be involved with them...

But the abusing kid thing is an absolute no go for me all together..

I have some Dye inserts I will continue to use. I already purchased them for a steal but they are hidden inside the gun so there is no furthering their business.

You're not the only one, I more don't care for anything they are doing. I've always liked their pants but my current pair is like 2012 model so long before they really started going to crap. I had a i5 for like 3 months before I found out it was a terrible design and sold it. Beyond that I've owned my dm6 since like 08 and I think pretty much everything they are currently producing is crap. The markers all use the eye pipe and I'm not ok being reliant on a company continually producing a piece of plastic that's known to have issues to keep my marker working long term, I have a og rotor and really don't see any advantage in getting an r2, the spire is a better overall hopper anyway. Beyond the eye pipe their markers are really temperamental when it comes to o ring specs and just environmental conditions.

Beyond the political crap which is not insignificant, they are just not doing much for the common player. I think a mechanical slg would do wonders for the sport right now but I suspect dye looks down their nose at the platform believing it's "beneath them" or some garbage.
