I have been doing some reading on annodizing. Doesnt the process seal the pores? Either way it's dumb.

There are industrial platers who, as part of the anodizing process, impregnate various resins into the pores of the anodizing to improve component lubricity. There are some cool steel treatments that do the same, whether with boron doping or other processes.

This is neither. I doubt it lasts a full case without most of it wiping away.
