    Push Unite MK2 Googles

Push has updated their goggles. Looks like includes the mask extension and some other changes I am now aware of.

also looks like a Push has rebranded to Push Tactical?

Sure would be nice if they highlighted the parts they changed.

Colorways are new and they added the chin extension for all models, not just the XL. They sell the chin extender already as a separate item if you desire. Same mask otherwise.

I really wanted to like these goggles.... Used them frequently even, but after to many lower jaw line hits even with the chin extension I have relegated them to "chrono goggles"

I'm not sure who (maybe shrunken head Bob from Beetlejuice) these were designed for but certainly not your normal human

Yeah I wanted to like them too but you're right, the bottom is almost too short without the extension. Even with that I felt like my jaw stuck out and I don't think I have a big head. Most other googles fit me fine, except for the early 2000's Vents. They were extremely short too. Kind of reminds me of the Push in terms of wanting to like them but they don't fit. The lenses in the Push are fantastic and they were easy to work on but I didn't like the fit.

I picked up a used pair for a good price, but haven’t used them in a game for that exact reason. Sit so close to my face. I don’t have the extension either. But extension looks pretty small.

I love mine. Best mask I've ever had.

But yeah I don't see the difference between these and the originals that have a chin extension.

I seem to fall in the same catagory as some of you. I really wanted to like them, and used them frequently. They were just too small even with the chin extension.

Neat? Does the nose bridge adjustment actually do anything now? Does the Unite weigh any less? I only played in mine once, which was enough to determine it wasn't better than a Proflex or CMD.

I'll never understand the attempted minimalization of mask material in critical points. If I'm going to take a shot to the face/head, I want it to hit my mask, not my skin. Give me more mask, not less.

I spent a couple hours messing with mine one day. YMMV on how "effective" is it, but I found some improvement on fitmint across the bridge of my nose/face. The idea is cool, but the implementation of the idea is on the poorer end of the spectrum. Adjusting the setscrew just wedges the plastic apart more in the nose section.

I wouldn't say I have a small head (DYE i4 is a bit small for me), but the Push mask fit me just fine. I had the chin extender but I don't remember if I actually used it. Ultimately I liked my VIOs better and thus got rid of the Unite.

Glad I read this thread, I like and want them but the chin coverage issue is likely to be a problem for me. Will continue to look.

Here's my comparison, I've owned both a i4 and i5. The push with chin extension is very similar coverage to the i5. Without it's close to the i4

I sold my i5 and kept the i4 because I couldn't tighten the i5 enough to be comfortable.
