How do these loaders perform with mech markers?

On mech I prefer force feed like a Rotor. I own one and don't use it, it's just a back-up or loaner.

I use the CTRL 1 on my Emeks. It works great. The only one I had issues with them on was the Nova N3 Hellion because it could outshoot the hopper. But on my Emeks, the M170r, Mech Shocker and Gog it does great. I bought these when they first came out and they are still running strong. I really thought about picking up another to have at this price.

Really depends on the marker---but if you're using a mech that's decently fast and doesn't have anti-chop built in, I wouldn't touch one. Force feed puts the ball where it's supposed to be and will have a lot fewer chops. If the marker is slow or can pinch, maybe. But I use other things for that exact reason.

I’ve been using this hopper for a few years… terrible design. Works fine mechanically but the shape of it really is not conducive to dumping a pod in. I wouldn’t get it again, the money you’ll save with the sell, you’ll lose with paint on the ground.

I haven't used the original but I enjoy my Ctrl2, it's certainly not the best loader I've used but it works every time which I can't complain about.

Winchester gravity loader on the pump still reigns supreme tho

I've got one too and I love it, but I see what you mean. If you're holding the marker level while filling (like if you're actively holding a lane), it takes forever to get all the paint in because the opening is so low. But as long as I can take about 1 second to point my muzzle down, the loader fills without an issue.

Meh the LTR is a way better hopper it’s just heavier. But the battery life is way better it’s got better speed feed options and it feeds like a beast. Looks like they are $119 now. I got mine for $99

Those are great hoppers. Reliable and feed fast enough to keep up with modern electro stuff. Outside of an RT marker they will get the job done

CTRL 1 is quazi-forcefed. If i understand it correctly, the audio sensor picks up the shot and the torque tensor determines how much pressure turns off the rotations.

Right as soon as it feels resistance, the motor turns off.

Much more reliable than eyes in my (anecdotal) experience.

Totally agree. I love the way the CTRL feeds. If there is a bit a oil/paint near the eyes in one of my IR2's then it just spins and spins and spins.
