Fox Paintball in Newark, IL set to close at end of June

From their Facebook, Fox Paintball is closing end of June, last days of play are the 27th and 28th. This is my home field, and it will always have a special place in my heart. It was my first job in high school, too, I was a ref for 2 years. Made many friends, shot many people. Much love to Tim and AGD.

Heres a link to the thread started a few days ago. Hopefully i can use the jeep that weekend. And play the last days of historic field. Would also be my first time ever playing/visiting Fox too. RIP

Damn that's sad, it's the first field I ever played at. I was in middle school and went out for a friend's birthday party, immediately got hooked. I moved away and never got to play there again but good memories.

Sad to hear. It used to be great. Team SWARM were a great group of guys. Hadnt been back for MANY years, went to the ICC a couple years ago there. couldnt have been more disappointed. No suprise of the closing based on my experience then. Sad to see it had gotten so bad.
