Time for food and supplies discussion

Friday night
burgers and dogs something simple to enjoy after setting up camp. Maybe some fruit and or potato salad to go with it

Saturday
Breakfast. Burrito bar, this worked well at fulda and gives a nice variety of options

Lunch. Smoked chicken sandwiches? Open to ideas here

Dinner. pulled pork always seems popular. Was going to make some mac and cheese and corn on the cob to go with it

Sunday morning. Biscuits and gravy

I plan to bring the smoker, griddle, and 2 big burners.

I will go through the trailer later today and see what we have for utensils, plates, and cups.

I can handle the burrito bar again. How many people are we talking this time?

That is a great question that will most likely not be answered until Saturday morning.

Right now I can only come up with 7 names for people camping. We will have 4 or 5 more showing up that morning who may or may not have already eaten breakfast in the way.

At this point I am planning to camp Friday to Sunday with Rocky and Lilah. Rather then fill my limited jeep space to bring stuff down I will volunteer to make a supply run on Friday night. Last year I went on Saturday and not only was the store half empty but some imposter took my spot in the group shot.

I normally don’t like to talk about the weather at all, but it is passed Wednesday so… yeah Saturday night isn’t looking great for being in a tent nor does Sunday morning look like a good time to pack up. Hopefully this changes in the next 48 hours but I for one will be planning for contingency. Not sure if that means finding a hotel or just heading home late Saturday. We shall see.

Carp unfortunately haven’t seen Drum in quite a few years. Last I’d heard his eyesight got really poor and he sold off most of his collection except one or two sentimental pieces. I think he’s up in Maine full time now.

Yeah. I've been watching this closely over the past few days. It seems like the forecast is changing day to day. It was supposed to be a pretty wet game, but at least it looks like the rain *may* be kind to us during the day.

I guess I'll get to find out just how waterproof a Gazelle is with a footprint. Good thing I got better stakes for it too. Probably best to hold off on putting up the canopy though.

I'm bringing3 pop ups and mesh tent thing. Not sure of my overall plan for Saturday night and Sunday. I can leave them with the group for the overnight and Sunday should I wuss out.
Does anyone want or need markers, masks, pods? I'm bringing some stuff to sell but will happily pack requests.
