Cannot upload Photos - Error Message included.

Get the following error when trying to upload a 164KB photo. I'd screenshot it, but cannot upload photos.

Get the same error when trying to upload from a mobile device.

Error Message:

Upload failed. You have exceeded your usergroup's upload quota of 976.6 KB by 5.70 MB.

Same error whether it's an attachment or album upload.

Update. I even receive the same error when trying to post URL photos hosted on another site.

Wont let me post screenshot shots either. But my error says it's because they exceed 2mb. How is a screen shot over 2mb? All my regular pics are like 4Mb plus.

I’m getting the same..... issues with screenshots and now getting the upload failed user group msg.

I intentionally resized an image to KB, not MB's and still couldnt.

From what I can see, this is a server configuration setting which I do not have nor do I want access to. this will be passed up the line.

I just got the same error right now. Same 976.6KB limit but says I exceeded by 8.70MB.

Hey guys! Quick tips to just get photos up and running quick.

1) Use IMGUR to upload your photos

2) copy pasted the ACTUAL link to the photo (i.e. it will end in the file format of the picture i.e. imgur.com/whatever.jpg

3) Deselect the checkbox on MCB called "retrieve files to store locally".

Ran into this just now. Would like to have the images hosted on this server rather than a third party server. Just my preferences.

I would like to say that we have had some technical issues, or that the technical team has been sacked. but that isn't true. the truth is that when we were stacking the pancakes on the doghouse, the snakes escaped and we had to row our chicken wire canoe up the tree to release the fire ants and we got stuck. Whenever I uploaded pictures, I got myself a phone app, image size, convert to jpeg and I use 1440 pixels size limit.
