    Typing from a cell phone

    Hello everybody,

Im not sure if only me ... but i have some wired issues when typing with my phone.
especially when trying to hit the backspace specifically when truing to erase a new/blank line.

Its only happening when using my phone and on MCB only, everything works fine from a PC.

Is it my phone having issue or does someone else have the same issue?

I haven't noticed any problems using my phone but will try to use it to check the site and post with it a bit more to see if I have the same problem.

I've always just chalked any phone typing problems up to fat fingers and autocorrect.

My keyboard is a little wacky. It's hard to describe exactly what happens but it's particularly troublesome when trying to edit text. And of course now I can't get it to do it again.

In an earlier thread on this topic it seemed like Google Pixel phones were a common thread. It may have been an issue with Google keyboard software as I just downloaded an update recently.

My phone is a cheaper Android phone. I haven't seen any problems yet.

Phones are for making calls not typing So I just keep my surfing forums where I want to communicate to my PC. I'm biased though I hate all phones, just find them annoying all the way back to my rotor phone on a party line.

              OK, Boomer :P

(Just kidding; I agree with you in principal but when I want to check MCB I inevitably reach for the phone in my pocket instead of finding the laptop, turning it on, etc etc etc)

Gen-X (early Gen-X but still more that then Baby Boomer)

I spend most of my work day on a computer and do side work like scrapping internet sights so way more opportunity to use a computer then many. I didn't even start texting until 2016 and still keep it to the minimum. "Heading Home", "what do we need at grocery store",...etc.
