    Private Messages and follower requests

    Apparently users have to send me a request to "follow" me before they can send me a PM. I'd rather that any member be able to send me a PM. What am I missing here?

      I think I was just able to send you a PM in spite of not following you.

      I clicked the message icon next you avatar in the post. I couldn't find a link to send a message from your profile

          yeah, that came through as expected. Maybe just toggling the setting made it work as intended? Maybe there's another messaging method that triggers the follow request? I dunno man. Thanks for testing it.

              We have had an issue with people posting a "Visitor Message" on someones profile thinking they are sending a PM. My guess would be that is the issue.

              I haven't found an answer to that problem yet. I'm preoccupied with some "at home" stuff and not learning vbulletin fast enough.
