Tapatalk update

Hey admins, I've been chatting with the guys over at Tapatalk about issues I've been having with their app in relation to how it functions with the forum.

A new issue came up with the way break codes are put into private messages. They tracked down the issue and said it was fixed in an update and the forum just needs to update the Tapatalk plugin to get it going.

Please o merciful providers of mayo, update the Tapatalk plugin.

Why is everybody using Tapatalk? The mobile browser version of MCB is perfect.

Because it pulls multiple forms into the app so I don't have to go around to multiple forms to see if there are any notifications. Everything is in one spot. You can also upload photos straight to the app/forum and it makes all forums function the same since you are accessing it through the app

Hell I'm an admin on another forum, I can even do some of the admin functions through the app

Interesting. Maybe it would make more sense if I belonged to more forums. I'm really only ever on here and AO, and I have them on my browser speed dial.

Yeah it's actually really user friendly. I'm not going to say it's perfect but it is really good.

Try it out, there's a free version or paid version with a few extra features

Yeah I used to get push notifications whenever someone posted in a subbed thread/section or quotes or PMs. Unfortunately I no longer get them for some reason. I think there was a day I didn't have my phone on me and when I came back there were 100+ notifications and the notifications seemed to stop after that. Also I can't post or see comments but otherwise Tapatalk is the way to go for mobile.

Lol funny you should mention that. That's actually why I'm talking to the people at Tapatalk right now.

Push notifications are working sometimes and not other times. I'm also getting some notifications that are 10 years old for some reason.

No, not yet... Having trouble logging in and need to hit up our IT department. Apparently we were under heavy attack and locked down some of the ports and now I need to know the new secret handshake to VPN into the server

Yes, I've been chatting with one of their developers, he mentioned than they have been under some huge attack as of late. Sounds like a DDOS or something. He hasn't replied to me in the last few days so I'm wondering if it got some tipping point
