Private messages?

I've had 23-24 private messages listed in my inbox for god only knows how long. I haven't gone through every single message in my inbox, but I can't seem to find the ones that are apparently still listed as "unread". Is there an easy way to find these, and/or mark them as read? I tried the "select all/mark as read" option, but I still have 23 messages listed.

You click the drop down tab for messages, then click " message center" then select "inbox" and that'll list everything that has its last correspondence to you specifically.
