(not bug) username change or new account?

Changing an existing username plays hell with the database on the back end so it doesn't happen. But that was a while ago and maybe something has changed since then.

I tried to make an accommodation, but I don't think it's exactly what he wanted. Then again, it may just be perfect. He hasn't changed it yet.

Edit: I changed it back...oh well.

It can be done. Don't like to do it often so something done on a case by case basis. What do you want it to be? When the change happens, you might get "logged out" and need to just log in with the new username. But not always. Unless you want your username to be "not bug".
