    GLOFEP - Getting logged out for every page

    I am getting logged out for every single page that I click.

    Granted, it has made made me able to recite the password to MCB if I was woken up in the middle of the night, the novelty value of having to log in for EVERY single page I wish to browse gets stale pretty frigging soon.

    I would hazard to guess that this might have something to do with the latest software update.


    I run Windows 10 Pro, and use Firefox as my browser, if that helps.

      Also, it seems that I can't edit my post, nor quote it.. Nothing whatsoever happens no matter how much I abuse the left mouse button, and believe me - stress fractures are rapidly building up.

          So.. yeah.. I take one step forward and two steps back. You probably really need to clear your cookies and cache. There was a problem with the whole www vs non-www and that was screwing it up and I just recently changed it to non-www but I see quoting and reactions are not working now, so there is that now broken. Bah.

                  I was getting this intermittently as well.

                          Yup... but I'm stepping away now. Said I would do it before, but still at it. My eyes hurt. Things are working now and I'm happy with the speed overall once everything is cached. There are other things I can look at, but seems good to go for now. We need to try stuff and see if anything is broken before making 10 changes. Which is what I've been doing. When that happens I don't know what actually broke it and have to start from scratch again. So using this point to take a pause.

                              Yesterday I cleared the cache, but after that I couldn't log in at all. Although that might not necessarily have been the cause, since I couldn't log in on either Windows Edge (that I had never used up until yesterday) or on my phone). Absolutely nothing happened when I clicked "Log in" - it was like I clicked anywhere else on the screen.

                              This morning when I started up the computer I was logged out on MCB main screen - or so it appeared. But whenever I either clicked on a topic or opened a topic in another tab I was instantly logged in. Initially reloading the main page had no visual effect, still showing me not logged in, but after a few tries I suddenly became logged in.


                              I am posting this to hopefully help with giving you some hints as to what might be the trouble. I am not complaining or anything. I am very grateful for the work you provide to keep this site up and running.
