UPDATE – JUNE 09, 2001
On Friday, June 08, 2001, we (Blowguns Northwest, Inc.) issued a
purchase order for purchasing the entire run of .62 caliber
paintballs. They are on their way!
AVAILABILITY: We've requested that a rush be put on the
"dies" for the .62 caliber paintballs for the speediest processing
possible. All of us have been waiting long enough for these balls
and the manufacturer knows that. The dies should be ready in about
two weeks. We need to add another week
for production and we are there. As soon as product is
complete, we will be informed of the exact yield and we can then make
arrangements for delivery and shipping.
These paintballs will be palletized for better shipping and sent
via WEL in climate-controlled carriers. The entire order will be
shipped on a Thursday or Friday and the carriers will roll throughout
the weekend and delivery should be made to us on a Tuesday or Wednesday
of the following week.
For the freshest balls possible, we will send out an e-mail to
those of you that have paid for their orders and let you know an
approximate date of when they will be shipped from our location.
CASE SIZE: We are told that the paintball cases should be
3000 to a case. They will be divided into two sections of 1500
paintballs per side. Therefore, we have developed a pricing
structure to hopefully fit all needs from the person only needing a
thousand or so to the person needing several cases at any given
time. The more you buy, the cheaper it gets so see if there is
someone you know you can go in on a case with and save yourself some
money. We have to pay for the storage of the paintballs, the
breakdown of the balls when ordered in smaller quantity, etc. so
therefore, all of this has been taken into consideration when developing
the following price structure.
PRICING: Prices
will come down as availability and popularity increase.
First couple runs are always expensive, as the costs for dies and
equipment need to be made and covered in that cost. Once those
items are paid for with numerous runs being made, the cost will be
reduced as production is increased. We will keep passing on the
best pricing to you. For now, here is how it all shakes
out:
1500 paintballs @ $90.00 1/2 case
1 case @ $165.00 per case
2-3 cases @ $150.00 per case
4-5 cases @ $135.00 per case
6-10 cases @ $120.00 per case
11 or more cases @ $105.00 per case
Remember, prices will come down the more runs we make. The
prices above do not include the shipping charges from our location in WA
State to your location. If you are ordering several cases at any
given time and you have a freight company you want to use, call us at
1-888-774-0124 and place your order and we'll be happy to help you set
that up. Long distance transport will need a climate-controlled
carrier for the best transport of the balls. UPS charges by the
box, weight and dimension and freight companies tend to go on weight
alone. If you have a UPS account number and/or a FedEx account
number, we can bill your account for the shipping if that makes it
easier. Some of the paintball companies that have requested
numerous cases at any given time may find this more beneficial for
your needs. We'll be happy to work with each and every one of you, as this
paintball run has been our baby as well as yours for a very long time so we are more than happy to see this thing work.
COLORS AVAILABLE: It looks as if the colors available will
be one color for now, orange being that most popular color of
choice. More colors will be available if the paintball maker sees
the interest and popularity growing. This first run will most
likely consist of the most popular color requested – orange - and then
grow from there. You can still sign up for your request on future
runs and we will certainly make that a point to keep the manufacturer
abreast of that information for all future orders.
