Researchpb.com - Bob Long and Evil rebuild parts

Hey MCB folks! I finally got my site up and running. I carry Bob Long and Evil rebuild parts, and eventually I'll start unloading old hard parts as well. If you need reg seats, hammer bumpers, ball bumpers, or a cup seal for an Intimidator, check out the site!

Do you think your torpedo reg seats will also fit Palmer Stabilizers? I have known these parts to be campatible in the past.

Let me open up a Stabilizer and find out for you. I've had one on the bench for a while.

I'll title this piece "I win." Alternative title, "Holy red Loctite, Batman!" I'll check fitment and function of the reg seats after this guy cools down.

Looks about the same as a BL reg inside. Durometer of the regulator seat seal is the same. Diameters look almost exactly the same.

You are officially the first person to order through the site. Woo! Guess I'll put grading on pause (I teach HS chemistry and we got a 4-day weekend due to no snow days this year) and get this packed up!

Also wrapped up the rebuild on this old Stabilizer and it's regulating nicely. Vented a few times and it recharged right back to 200 psi. I'll let it sit for a few hours to verify that it's not creeping. The old Dye Throttle puts out about 650 psi IIRC.

Just following up here. In classic Palmer's fashion, the Stabilizer held right at 200 psi for 24 hours.

Just ordered a few because I have two Stabilizers waiting for new life!!! You might have some luck in the Palmer section with these.

Would it be possible to put dimensions on your site for the reg seats? I'm already wondering what other regs these fit.

Well, no. Determining the dimensions for these happened over a long time and through the purchase of many, many regulators. It's absolutely in the triple digits. The research was expensive, in terms of both time and money; I won't just give it away for free. That being said, I probably have one of the regulators about which you're curious. I'd be happy to test it out for you and post my findings.
