    PPS Typhoon

    Moving this for a friend so I don't have tons of background on it. Pretty sure it is a typhoon but I also know that some of these were converted and there were a few variants so if you need better pictures of something let me know. He has not shot it in years. Externally in good shape. I put some air on it and it is pissing air out the hpr and some down the barrel (maybe other areas but can't tell because of the other leaks) but it will cycle and recock quickly. Based on the it recocking and shooting I am guessing a oring rebuild of the HRP and valve would get her close to running. I just do not really want to put in the work to get her back up and running as I have enough projects already.

    Definitely a scratch built typhoon based on the lower tube length. They are all known for leaking if they've sat for a while.

    GLWS. These are extremely fun guns when set up and working.

    Thanks for the confirmation above. I also couldn't help myself so went to rebuild the HPR but realized I did not have the 112 oring for the piston on hand but it had turned to gum so that is why it was leaking. I had another Stabilizer on hand that I put on it for testing purposes to see if it leaked further up. There is a large leak from the handle where I am assuming a LPR is sitting. Ram seems to be running fine though. Feel free to offer up.

      Does it have small dents in the barrel in front of the feedneck? These are called wedgits, they should look like the edge of a nickel was pushed into the metal.

        imgur shows no wedgits. It is spiral ported, right feed, 2 finger trigger, with battle grips, and a Tippmann forend..Serial number appears to be P1340, old enough it is almost definitely .690 bore.

        Good Luck with the sale, Palmers are fun when they aren't leaking. They shoot quiet with the porting, and the few I've had have been extremely accurate.
